This is the very last Discussion Thread, the ITK and Transfer Forums will be taken offline shortly and everything can then get back to 'normal'.......If there is such a thing on SC.
The last day of the transfer window is always an exciting one and
this one was no exception! The mood during the early exchanges was dominated by the pessemists.........
And the agenda driven drivel also made an appearance.....
I laughed when I saw this because of how the day ended.........
Then........
Then the VDV news broke.
Chaos reigned supreme. Had we got the paperwork in on time? Would the EPL ratify the transfer? What we having for tea? It should be noted that at this point, I was oiling my genitalia.
The ITK's were very soon on the case. BEN spoke, (You might need to cut and paste this into a spellchecker, set to BENGLISH)
Then Peanut, over on COYS with a clarity which could have been used above gave us........
And that is it. We all await with baited breath a yay or nay from the Premier League. Will they do us up the bumcheeks or will Levy get his way?
SPORTS NEWS JUST IN............
Somerset have beaten Pakistan by 5 wickets at Taunton next thursday.

We will sign no one..
I dont believe we will get anyone
I don't expect anyone
I'm a real pessimist today unfortunately, a lack of ambition has been made very obvious.
So the VDV news came as even more of a surprise then.....Levy will not be sanctioning deals as we dont have players going out as we hoped i.e Jenas and Keane.
And the agenda driven drivel also made an appearance.....
Dumb and Naive? Don't be so harsh on yourself, you're entitled to your opinion.......... :lol:instead we try and save a buck and do business cheap at the least minute. It's just so dumb and naive
I laughed when I saw this because of how the day ended.........
RVDV and mediocrity don't make for good bedfellows........Usual last day scramble for mediocrity because of a lack of strategy.
Then........
What you laughing at?

Now down to Premier League board meeting in the morning. They will say yay, nay, or come back with proof. We're doing everything we can and pointing to all available precedents, could go either way.
