The last day of the transfer window is always an exciting one and
this one was no exception! The mood during the early exchanges was dominated by the pessemists.........

Levy will not be sanctioning deals as we dont have players going out as we hoped i.e Jenas and Keane.

So the VDV news came as even more of a surprise then.....
And the agenda driven drivel also made an appearance.....

instead we try and save a buck and do business cheap at the least minute. It's just so dumb and naive

Good update as usual! I don't know what to think of the PL decision. I don't think this would be up for discussion if it was Arsenal, Chelsea, United or Liverpool but I am a bit worried they might try and show they are quite hard fisted.

If he does sign I will be pleased, he isn't the striker I think most people wanted but he is top class and he does have that extra quality that sometimes we miss (without modric on Saturday)

In response to how good he is..... he's a proven match winner with a peach of a left foot, 80 Dutch caps and only 27 years old. The Madrid fans liked him. In Holland he is already a legend. Goals, assists and set piece efficiency will go up at Spurs without a shadow of a doubt.

Did any ITK call this? it's funny all the players linked by ITKs and how many 'done deals' were never done.

I'd love to have a spurscommunity Catholic style confessions thread where all the ITK's who are really WUMs could confess to the Spurscommunity powers that be and be absolved of their sins, would be interesting to know if any of the people were actually just making stuff up and who...not accusing anyone, i'm sure they all passed on in good faith

I don't think anyone can clarify that, but I would imagine it would fall through completely. If they say no though I don't think it will be the end of it, I think we will fight it.

Not sure what VdV will do for the next few months if it does fall through and we don't win the appeal.
