Apparently our game against Chelsea at Stamford bridge could be a sell out. And before anyone says it the tickets are cheaper and they have given away lots of tickets to kids as well.

We have taken out Women's Season tickets this year. The Hive is way easier to get to than the previous ground. Looking forward to Sunday, we got our tickets this week. My daughter loves watching Tottenham Women play, and I'm so proud they've got to WSL - it'll be a tough season, we'll be there cheering them on.
That'll be two trips to White Hart Lane this season - once for the women and once for the men!

Also - the poster who asked about whether younger kids would be interested, definitely suitable. We saw the women play vs Crystal Palace a month ago, my daughter was wearing her goalkeeper shirt and Chloe Morgan waved at her, came over and admired the shirt and had a chat, we got pics with the players including Jenna Schillaci and Jessica Naz. It's also worth going to the FA Cup Final as a neutral too, that's always good fun - my daughter got to get Phil Neville and Kelly Smith's autographs last year, the previous year Mary Earps and Fara Williams. They're getting something right for young girls who want to play football these days - there was nothing like this for me when I was my daughter's age.

Isn't interesting that West Ham and Chelsea have chosen to play their home game against us at their main club stadium! I wonder if the Gooners will follow suit?

They definitely will. Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham biggest derbies are all against us. Which supports the fact that we are the biggest club in London. Trophies are irrelevant. Although it would be nice to have one.

Good luck to them today, Great opportunity to get your young daughters involved because we're right at the cusp of adoption, by the time kids in their early ages today turn 18 they should be pulling in significant wages so there's no better time to live out your failed dreams through your daughters than this.

@spoddams ..

I was browsing this thread and saw the name Jenna Schillaci, it rang a memory bell from about 30 years ago.
.
My son who is now 39 played in a team with a lad called Adrian Schillaci for a Cheshunt youth under 9/10s team. I remember he had a younger sister who was always at the matches with her Dad. I looked up Jenna's photos online and there is a definite resemblance to what I remember her Dad looked like.

Great shot by the Chelsea player for the goal. We gave the ball away far too cheaply though.

We look very slow at the back, or perhaps they're just significantly quicker in attack!

Bit of both I think. Overall we created some decent attacks and are doing better than I thought for a newly promoted side who have made a lot of personnel changes. Hopefully we can keep it up in the 2nd half.

Gemma Davison don't look to shabby either. Like the way she drives at the opposition.

Even better that she saw the light and fecked Chelsea off to join Spurs.

Bennett in goal has been pretty good in the main also.

Whilst it is said Chelsea haven’t played to their best, I thought Spurs gave a good account of themselves. Defended well and really put a shift in, few first half chances also.

All in all, have to be happy with the effort, and certainly think that on this showing the ladies are more than capable of giving a few teams a real game this season.

Good stuff. Enjoyed that. (y)
