Another great performance by the girls today! Gutted the Ayane was brought down when she went clear on goal, would love to of seen that in the back of the net.
My only little criticism was not enough support when they got forward, often getting isolated and trying long range shoots from outside the box.

Great day out though!

What a great start to the WSL!

Today I thought Dean, Ayane, Godfrey and Peplow looked very good. To think Peplow is only 20. She is so calm on the ball and a good tackler too.

Oh I used the FA app without a problem. But that might be because I was watching it from Spain.

If you download the FA player app then all the matches are available to watch online free.

As far as I know all WSL games are on the FA player but muppetman had a problem viewing, maybe it's the username that's the problem

Just under 25k at the stadium today! great atmosphere & great performance by the ladies. West Ham were unlucky not to find the back of the net but our goals were dealt with skill and precision, 2 good goals.
When the second goal went in the Spurs support really came to life and made our presence known in the London stadium

I was browsing this thread and saw the name Jenna Schillaci, it rang a memory bell from about 30 years ago.
.
My son who is now 39 played in a team with a lad called Adrian Schillaci for a Cheshunt youth under 9/10s team. I remember he had a younger sister who was always at the matches with her Dad. I looked up Jenna's photos online and there is a definite resemblance to what I remember her Dad looked like.

I was speaking to my lad on Friday and he reminded me one of my daughter's played in the same side as Jenna when they were about 9/10 years old. The team - Marytown Rovers was based in Cheshunt.
