Imo the majority of youth that are going to be high level you can tell virtually instantly they have something about them. Yes obviously there are a few cases that prove this wrong. But if you have to hum and haw about a player over 30 games like KWP or Onomah or Ccv they probably won’t be good enough. Look at the current England team virtually every player it was obvious straight away apart from maybe Kane and Maguire. It’s just like Parrott you can tell in 45 minutes he’s a player. With KWP you’re desperately straining to see stuff to justify his case. Yrs he’s competent but nothing special. Will have a good career probably in PL but not at a top 6 club.
You keep saying this like you've got some eye noone else had when there
are plenty of cases where it doesnt work like that. You're comparing Parrott playing for u18s and preseason versus KWP playing LB a couple of times in the league. You also never saw KWP and Onomah or probably Edward's as 17yos at u18s level when you would no doubt have said the same thing you're saying about Parrott. The same Onomah Poch called special. What will you say when Parrott likely doesnt make it (though he is clearly good enough to play)? KWP had put in performances for our u18s and u23s that Parrott hasn't come close to, bit still isn't getting a chance and like spurs9 said has done well on his PL starts. How do you expect regular consistent performances without the game time
