Guys, Pereirra is an absolute diamond..how we bought airier over him I will never know.
i do think we tried for him but couldn't seal the deal?

Ricardo would have been perfect. At the time, I think Poch was emphasizing positional flexibility between a back four and a back three with wing backs, Poch and/or Levy's team might have been concerned that Ricardo and Trippier are both wing-backs. Aurier certainly had the physical build of a true fullback and might have appealed as more of a like-for-like Walker replacement. In fairness, when Ricardo first arrived at LCFC, Puel wouldn't play him in the back and had him as a winger. He's still not perfect defensively, but the upside is there for a terrific fullback on both sides of the pitch who has improved quickly. You know how people will go do their weekly shopping and see something is on sale, they'll never normally buy it but fuck me it's on sale and at the same price as the thing you actually wanted but that's fucking full markup? Why buy something full markup when this is on fucking sale. That's how we got Aurier for 25 mill instead of Pereira for 25.

I really hoped this could be a breakout year for Aurier and didn't expect it to be another disaster. I am probably foolish for hoping there's still a player there somewhere. When his head is screwed on he can make some excellent defensive plays, and links well with Sissoko going forward, has put in a few wicked crosses of his own. But the percentage of time with his head screwed on is a relatively low percentage. Costly defensive errors and giving away possession and fouls cheaply and dangerously.
What about his son, Kasper?Schmeichel is actually older than Lloris...
I don’t think we should be selling rose
Max Schmeichel is only 9...What about his son, Kasper?
He is homegrown. Relegated club, out of contract next year, so would be very kindly priced. 22 years old & already an excellent player.
As I've said before. He makes me instantly think of Poch's comments about how good Dembele is, but wished he got to coach him in his early twenties.
Yeah it's an unlikely signing, I just personally think it would be a very shrewd one.
You'd have to watch the games against us to judge him, perhaps. I think he'd be reasonably priced, excellent squad player. I think you'd want Ndombele and Tielemans in first, say, but if Dier leaves and if Wanyama leaves, you're looking at a 5th spot to fill maybe, for the CM/DM position.Hard to judge on YouTube footage but other than having a long throw and making some timely challenges he doesn’t look like anything other than your every day no frills footballer. Yes he’s young and homegrown but he looks more of a stocking filler than someone whom will revitalise our push for a top 4 finish and potential silverware.
Could be awesome. It is The Sun after all but interesting Lo Celso...

Seriously, I don't see what's not to like
He’s a quality player. Find it hard to believe Betis would sell him straight away for anything under crazy money, though. It is The Sun after all but interesting Lo Celso...

I’d mabye take Richarlison or Zaha over Dele on current form but longer term would still stick with dele as potential is still amazing, otherwise I think your team is pretty much spot on, oh and mabye Kasper.S over Lloris but that is a tough call.If you could have a team based from anyone outside the top 6 who would you want at spurs?
Lloris
Wan-Bisaka Alderweireld Vertonghen Chilwell
Winks Sissoko
Dele Eriksen Son
Kane

Perhaps you don't know Rondon's game as well as you think you do. Rondon is mobile and has quite decent speed and tons of power. Do you not remember him outrunning our 'beast' CB Sanchez and then ragdolling him at Wembley? Rondon has a truly varied game that you only have to watch to appreciate. He plays off the shoulder or can play the targetman and hold it up. And when you watch do tell me if he is left or right footed. He is a true litmus test player for fans.Don’t understand why people want a target man when we’ve seen with Llorente that it doesn’t suit our style of play and don’t play to their strengths. We need a wing forward like Sonny
Getting racially abused by one of the fans wouldn't of overly helpedWell, Billing have refused to play for his club for a while and couldn't be bothered about the end of season lap of honour. Not saying his attitude will be the same at Spurs, but .....
May need to re read the post you’ve replied to.I'd chuck Virgil in there and Shaw as a minimum! Can't be arsed with rest!
