I wasn't impressed by Barnes when we played them if I'm honest but that's literally all I've seen from him.

Saw him for WBA a few times and thought he looked a good prospect. Not what the squad needs most right now though IMO.

Same. Some of his long range passing, I don’t think anyone in our current side is capable of bar Toby. I can see why we are possibly interested now, especially if Toby leaves (obviously they play different positions but I mean replacing that trait which we will otherwise miss).

He’d be my first choice as back up for Kane

If it was just the tweets then fine... But the general opinion around Norwich (from inside the club and from those that had the misfortune to bump into him on nights out) is that he's a total penis. Really not the sort of personality that is indulged in our squad anymore. It's true that Aurier seems to have overcome the issues he had at PSG though I suppose.

Just thinking, maybe the reason we didn’t go after tielemans on loan is that there would’ve been no option to buy, why develop a player for 6 months for another team to profit from it

You don't "develop" a player for someone else over 6 months. You loan someone that way when you have put yourself in a shitty situation and have to solve it somehow.

Considering his age, I think he's got it all. Can play as number 10, either wing or anywhere across the front line. He has very good end product, whether passing, crossing or shooting & has great speed & work rate. I think Poch could make him into a heck of a player.

We've scouted him already (according to the press) but these clips show what the boy is capable of...
