My feeling is that chasing Martial is a fool’s errand. It didn’t get us anywhere last year when it was obvious Mourinho didn’t even rate him. Since then he’s signed a new contract and while his stock has fallen again, I think Utd would want money beyond what we’d offer

Lazy as fuck and a playboy

To all those who are excluded (Banned) from the Transfer/ITK forum including myself, now is the time to put your bribes (£10+ donation) in the coffers or say your good byes.

And just as Spurs most likely will be moving in to the new season and new stadium without 2 of their best players - Toby & Eriksen - SC will be moving into the new season in their new "stadium"/forum without the "besties" as well

French captain can keep him in check if he seriously wants an international career. Whilst we are at it we should sign Rabiot and a therapist
If they step out of line then they have to play Sissoko at Uno, if they lose that, then they have to fight him.

Someone needs to promise me they will look after Coopsie while we're apart. He likes to be cuddled and you have to whisper sweet nothing's in his ear while he falls asleep.

If we were as close to getting Martial as ITK said I think he is a gamble worth taking. Then we wont need a kane back up. Issue is can Son be just as effective from the right as he is on the left? He seems to be at his best from the left like Martial. Unless we play martial in a 2 with kane

He may have signed a new contract but for him to be dropped from squad without a reported injury means stock has fallen. Plus if they genuinely think he has an attitude problem they wouldn't be so adverse to selling to us. Then it's down to Poch to work his magic on him
He would have been a gamble worth taking if he didn't sign that contract a few months ago. Now they'll want a huge fee, and won't particularly want to sell to us as they see us as having their CL spot. No chance.

Spurs should go after Aaron Wan-Bissaka - but if Man Utd do the same then Spurs won't stand much of a chance. But at least they tried.

Poch has said we need to start behaving like a top club and that includes us fans. Comsistent CL football, CL semi-finalists this year (possible finalists), CL next season (barring an incredibly unlikely catastrophe on Sunday), best stadium in the world, located in London (one of the top cities in the world), one of the best training facilities in the world, WC winning captain, England captain, one of the best managers in the world renowned for developing players, a chairman and manager with a great relationship and ‘project’. Why would a young, ambitious player choose Man U over us? Looks like they’ll finish 6th in the league, with an inexperienced manager who has only won 2 of his last 11 games, and a rotten squad full of overpaid prima donnas.

What's there to pay for? The actual, true info from the inside is nigh non-existent at best and bewilderingly wrong at worst these days, and the rest of the debate is just a repeat wankfeast over Grealish and Sessegnon. I'd rather save the tenner and spend more time outside, eat gelato, soak up the sun and hide behind sunglasses so the brunettes don't really know where I'm looking.

This thread has been great - I hope a version of it can be worked into the Transfer Rumours section, instead of just player specific and ITK only threads.

Sometimes we just want to natter.

I'm really excited for what the window holds now, JJ sounds positive now we are all but certain to be playing Champions League football, although I don't want to get too sucked in, I spent too much time on here last summer for ultimately nothing to happen:LOL:.

Concerning Martial, I think it's all about the context. There are supposedly other bigger bad eggs in that squad, and he might simply be under bad influence. Why would he need to work hard if others get away with lack of effort? Maybe if he is inserted into a different squad with a different culture, the story could be different. Much like Rabiot, some Pochettino tough lovin' might just be what the two of them need.
