I’m not. My original comment was a joke.

How would you feel in my hypothetical though?

I would rather have played France in the first place. We were in the quarter finals and there are plenty of our squad players who needed a run out. Makes absolutely fuck all difference to the way things turned out.

Especially as we just beat up the best team in the world who had a nice break themselves in the group stage

You didn’t answer the question.

Look, it’s stupid, obviously you’d be pissed off but it doesn’t matter now. You’re in the final. Deservedly so.

I expect the England team hotel was more conducive to relaxation than New Zealand's. Can't really think of any other reason why we beat them.

Aaaand now I have come down from cloud 9.i shall watch that game again to make sure it was as good a performance as I thought. Outstanding match. England dominated the best side in the tournament. Ifs buts and wherefores are for losers. England are where they deserve to be.

Excellent performance from a fit, physical and well-rested England team. Now, come on Wales tomorrow, I want an all Northern Hemisphere final for the first time ever.

I think a Northern Hemisphere v Southern Hemisphere final is much better. More inclusive to fans across the world.

Come on you Boks.

Such optimism! Wales have plenty of forward power and flair to get a result. I dont think it's an obvious result for the boks. I'd prefer the boks, as it's more about form, too Much a derby and emotion when england play wales to judge it properly

From stuff.co.nz

"This was a long, long way from the crisp, free-flowing rugby that the All Blacks unleash at their best. But the fact of the matter is they weren't allowed to play it by an England side who owned the physical contests throughout and blunted their foes at every turn. And ended this run of 18 straight World Cup victories by the Kiwis as a result.
"Credit where it's due. This was a magnificent performance from Eddie Jones' England, led by a masterclass from brilliant loose forward Sam Underhill and his hard-hitting second-row team-mate Maro Itoje. They were the world-class forwards on the park and they completely overshadowed anyone in black as they propelled their side into their first final since 2007."

Couldn't argue with that. Another quite extraordinary thing is that I think I'm right in saying NZ didn't have a single shot at goal. That's seriously good discipline from England.

It’s got nothing to do with optimism I would just rather not watch a Wales England final.

If you were going on current form England would put 50 points on us in the final. You look easily 2 levels above us and we’ve picked up some key injuries and some others who are playing through injuries.

So all your bets are dead now?

They’re always going to talk up a Wales England final.

Yeah of course, no issue with them talking it up in the sense of them saying they'd like one. What I found odd was just how much they were completely writing off SA as just a smash and grab bunch of big bastards who would be no match for Wales in a million years, when for my money SA are the favourites for the match. Honestly the way they were talking made it sound like it was a Wales vs Samoa semi final or something.

I didn’t watch any of it so can’t comment. Obviously all the stuff you say they’re saying is complete bollocks. They’re clear odds on favourites.

Tom Curry was 9 the last time the All Blacks lost a World Cup game.
Mental.
