Just as I thought i'd got over the frustration of our wonderful ticket booking system, here we are again. Half an hour waiting and the little red bar is only a quarter across my screen. Good times!

I started queuing at 9:05 and got a ticket easily after about an hour and 15 minutes of waiting.

It's a joke, I think I got a ticket but it crashed at final stage. Ticket office assure me it's gone through, but I can't log back on to check without queuing again!
Only took 2 hours on the phone and 3 computers today and yesterday to get 1 ticket, and even now I'm not sure.
Lady in ticket office said online teething troubles, I pointed out that the teething troubles have been the same for years!
Roll on new stadium.

I got in a few minutes ago (after 3 hours, 25 minutes). a few green blocks about and a few more yellow so worth persevering.

It's still infinitely better than the old seatbooker one, it can be frustrating, but at least the queueing system stops the whole site crashing at 9:31.

Oh and by the way the system is back to the old method of giving you whatever seat it feels like rather than letting you choose.

I hate this system, it really drives me nuts, I wonder how much of my life I have wasted staring at that stupid box!

Ugh, that's ridiculous. I'm sure part of the trouble with the system before was people dumping tickets to try and get closer to their preferred row, meaning hundreds of tickets were in basket limbo of not actually being purchased but appearing on the site as already sold.

Seatbooker was great, the longest it ever took me to book seats on there was five minutes, and that included the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea. Now with the current heap of shite it takes hours and hours to get tickets for even Category C games.

I have very different memories of seatbooker, servers crashing all the time, ticket on sale times being pushed back and hours of waiting on hold for the ticket office. Perhaps you were just lucky and only applied for the few games where it actually worked properly. The concept was great, the implementation a disaster, the current system is so much fairer and more reliable for getting tickets, even if you have to stare at a red bar for a little while (although there are these modern browsers now which let you open new windows and tabs to do other things at the same time).

For it to have been a coincidence or luck it would have had to have been so for nearly every game of the season.

It's a shame that all posts pre 2007 are no longer available, but even now if you search for 'seatbooker' and go to the earliest few results you will see people's opinions of the 'great' system.
