Although we are only six games into the season the next three league games are so so important its actually scary.

Tottenham v Hull, 15:00

Stoke v Tottenham, 16:00

Tottenham v Bolton, 15:00

7 or 9 points against these three teams is must. If we only get one or two points then look who we have after...

Arsenal v Tottenham,

Tottenham v Liverpool,

Man City v Tottenham,

Iam going to the Hull match and will be cheering the team on as if it was a Premiership title decider against Arsenal. I plead with anyone else whos going to do the same!

It doesnt make good reading with our current form does it!

We just dont look like a team that is going to score, for me I dont understand why he doesnt just play Gio for a few games as the boy has a lot of talent and just needs to get used to life in the Prem. There is only one way to do that which is by playing! Also Modric will be back this weekend which is great as he is a brilliant player who we really need at the moment. One again on Sunday Jenas showed us that he will never be the midfielder that he once promised to be. He works really hard & fair play to him for that but his touch & vision just isnt good enough.

Not sure why we havent given THudd a game or two yet as with a 3 man midfield he would do well I reckon.

My team for Hull:

Gomes

Corluka King (if fit) Woodgate Bale (if fit)

Bentley Modric Jenas O'Hara GDS

Pavlyuchenko

Id play jenas in a deeper role as he has the pace to do well in that position, then with O'Hara doing the graft we can let Modric be the main attacking threat through the middle with GDS being the tricky player!

Hull and Stoke will be very tough games and they will really fancy turning us over.

I would say we need a win in the next two league games - anything less and we really do have a problem.

However, Hull and Stoke are set exactly in a way that we normally struggle to deal with - big, strong, physical, up for a fight. At least they are not super quick as that would rip us apart.

I agree with Ramos: it's not about the opposition it's about getting our team right first. Clearly we haven't found the right balance of players or tactics. We went 451 against Newcastle and it worked. We tried it against Porstmouth and we looked very stale. There is work to do on our side.

up to now the 4-5-1 system has'nt worked be it through the limited abilities of some of our players not being clever enough in the midfield department to bring a bit movement and yet some posters still persist with one tweak to there 4-5-1 line up thinking that will be the saviour?
we need to play a standard 4-4-2 with either bent/campbell or pav/campbell upfront

against krakow my 11 would be..

--------------------------gomes-----------------------------

-gunter............woody-----------------king-------------bale--

-lennon--------modric----------------zokora-----------santos-

-------------------bent------------campbell------------------

pace is an asset we have in abundance and teams dont like, in our current predicament this would be my team for both krakow and hull. start on the front foot and attack before the confidence evapourates if we continue losing and were up sh@t creek.

This three games in a row couldn't come at a better time imo.
We should be beating these sort of teams and if we fail, then as much as i regret it its adios ramos!
This should be a 9points which will then increase our confidence level.
We need to do better and there can be no more excuses!
I don't care who we play and who starts as long as we win. We are not the manager - Ramos is and i personally see it pointless to write my starting 11 coz i aint the manager now will i ever be! I am so annoyed with the team that i have no excitement anymore guys!

4-5-1 doesnt work for us and you cant drop Lennon after his performances. He has been one of our best players this season (not saying much I know):

-----------------Gomes--------

Gunther----Woodgate--King--Bale

Bentley-----Modric---Corluka--Lennon

-------------Campbell--Pav/Bent----

We need to go back to basics..4-4-2, players in the correct positions.

If no King and Bale, then:

-----------------Gomes-------------

Gunther----Woodgate---Corluka--O'Hara

Bentley-----Modric------Zokora---Lennon

-------------Campbell---Pav/Bent------

I would be so happy to see either of those teams and I am certain they would perform a million times better than the shite we have been served so far.

I agree that we must play with two upfront and that would be Cambell and one of Bent/Pav.

Hull - Most likely lose after what they did at Arsenal and they are on a great run

Stoke - Pray for a win

Bolton - Pray for a win

I reckon we should be happy with 4 points from that on current form

The next 3 games well L L L

We seriously could be going down

yeah your right id have campbell with one of bent and pav.

lennon, ohara and zokora must play in Mf with one other, and the rest pick themselves (sort of)

we need to get some points on the board quickish, but i still think we can turn it around - our since Chelsea has been:

Draw - Lose - Win - Draw - Win - Lose

That could be worse.........

Mainly because we were up against a couple of CBs who managed the improbable feat of making Michael Dawson look pretty damned good.

In terms of formation I just feel that surely we have to play 4 4 2 at home against teams like Hull, Bolton etc...

I think I can handle it better when we lose playing attacking football but when we stick five across our midfield I feel its negative and that we are trying not to lose rather then actually trying to win.
