Hewlett Packard are? Or EA?
The HP actually sounds good. “At the HP” has a nice flow to it. Not the lane but i’ll take it. Also, no red!
Eh?HP paid on the never never.
Sorry RichieS I guess you might be a bit youger than me, we used to say HP (hire purchase) was paying on the never never.
IT will be called the "ScrewFix" stadium at this rate.
That's assuming all the issues get fixed.
Should be called the Checkatrade....IT will be called the "ScrewFix" stadium at this rate.
Is there any possibility that we haven't secured naming rights because the club would be easier to sell without them?
A prospective buyer may want to do their own deals in this area, rather than be stuck with the deals of previous owners.
Also, don't some owners who want to pump money into a club, use sponsorship deals as a way to circumvent financial fair play (Man City, etc)?
Don't know much about this, so just putting it out there...
The asset value has to be higher with a sponsor in place, otherwise any buyer would be looking for a discount as one might not be found at an acceptable level. Is there any possibility that we haven't secured naming rights because the club would be easier to sell without them?

I'm sure it's more to do with the fact it's not finished yet. Nobody is going to announce sponsorship for a stadium that doesn't have a definite completion date.Is there any possibility that we haven't secured naming rights because the club would be easier to sell without them?
