The only real defence of our transfer window so far is barring Liverpool and Arsenal is the lack of spending by the other top 6 clubs also the lack of movement out of players from those clubs. Much like us I can’t recall any of the top six really having sold any players this window barring a couple of squad players from Liverpool. This is obviously causing a stagnation in the market. Pretty sure they all have players they want to move on so they can bring new players into their squads. It could be a case of who blinks first to get the window moving. Said it before the premier league clubs who voted to close the transfer window early are really to blame for this rediculous situation.
It seems the club's that voted for the early window closure have thrown a massive spanner in the works and seriously shot themselves in the foot, in fact they've completely blown the foot off!! Surely they would've known that it would be impossible to shift deadwood to the continent before buying!!?
