Any link to the Matt Law article folks?
Much appreciated....I agree with the posters above, his recent writings are very on point and offer further insight than most except our ITK's ?)
It's on the previous page mate.

Ah yes, Lyall Thomas the same journalist caught deleting more than one tweet about transfer news when proven wrong, and the same man who would block you if you showed evidence of it. Matt Law has always been better than LyallBefore Matt law the sky reporter lyall Thomas used be very reliable about spurs but in the last season or two it's Matt law who's spot on about the club news.
Kind of one of those chicken or the egg situations. Aren't top signings going to want to know that Poch has signed a new long term deal?If I were Poch I wouldn't sign any new deal until all the signings I wanted were sealed and delivered.
He's currently on a three year deal isn't he?Kind of one of those chicken or the egg situations. Aren't top signings going to want to know that Poch has signed a new long term deal?
I mean I'm sure but just don't know how much certain players look into or pay attention to that stuff. He's currently on a three year deal isn't he?
I think that's all the club need to tell the player and they will speak to the man himself who will probably assure them by just selling the project.
It has to be the aim doesn't it? I can't imagine Poch will be too happy if the tournament is ongoing and we haven't made any real progress. I'd imagine he wants everything sorted before the tournament ends so that he can focus on his preseason plans and get the new players geared up. Especially seen as a lot of our boys will be absent in the first couple of weeks.I mean I'm sure but just don't know how much certain players look into or pay attention to that stuff.
Any bets on if we make a purchase of a player before the first World Cup game on June 14th? I'd imagine Poch would prefer that way but who knows.
Nothing is currently indicating an issue with Poch, nor new contracts for other players, nor a concerted effort in the market. Unlike other years, the ITK seems unanimous on us moving forward with a significantly increased war chest. I'd imagine things will start rolling this weekLast week I thought the info was a deal was almost done and maybe announced at the weekend. Seems like this is dragging on with everything else. The longer the delays the more I am concerned about what we will end up with by the start of the new season.
I also think we collectively need to calm down on what getting players early this year means. I bet it simply means before preseason or not too long thereafter. It doesn't mean we have to buy them right this very second or everyone walks.Nothing is currently indicating an issue with Poch, nor new contracts for other players, nor a concerted effort in the market. Doubt he'd sign one if that was the caseIf I were Poch I wouldn't sign any new deal until all the signings I wanted were sealed and delivered.
If these players were all signed, what if Poch changed his mind about the contract and moved to a new club. That might screw us right up when employing a new manager with an entirely different vision of how to play than PochIf I were Poch I wouldn't sign any new deal until all the signings I wanted were sealed and delivered.
Pochettino was out to dinner in Copenhagen with Eriksen last night.
