Also, in regards to the clear them all out policy, surely when you have one top CB likely to leave on a free you make damn sure you do all you can to keep the other one around?

Thats actually quite baffling, the guy has openly said he loves it here and wants to stay.

And so it begins ☹

Massimiliano Allegri, who decided to take a year out of football after leaving Juventus in May, would put himself in the running to take over at Tottenham if Pochettino left the club. (Sun)

Real Madrid want Tottenham's Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, 27, to sign a pre-contract in January - and will then move for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. (Mirror)

The Mirror one is written by John Cross so obviously nothing more than shit stirring.

Allegri would be a good appointment tbh - if something is going to happen I'd rather it happened quickly.

Also Poch said quite recently that he thinks he can play into his mid to late 30’s. It must be a club decision not to give out a contract to player 30+.

Big mistake if you ask me. It’s not like we have a long list of 30+ players clogging up the wage bill.

Regular top 4 and Champions League final with no investment isn’t overachieving?

What on earth are you talking about?

We have two players from our youth system in our regular starting XI.

Where do you think the rest of them came from?

And who do you think paid for our training facilities?

I would prefer if levy backs him. This guy took a bunch of nobodies and turned them into superstars. If these players turned on him, then they can all fuck off. Sell them all and let poch breed a new bunch. I believe poch will work wonders once again. I think certain players have grown to become too full of themselves, but they need to remember who turned them to become the players they are today

This is the worst idea. The time for projects is over, whether it be Poch or someone else. Do the above and say goodbye to Kane

Think people need some happy pills in here ffs.

Can't always blame the manager, the performance against Colchester was not Pochs fault. A lot of others could be blamed but we usually start slow and it always costs us come the end of the season.

Poch out (flannels) brigade can do one for me, the guy has got us away from mediocrity up to champions league finalists with a thread bare squad which wasn't improved for 18 months. Think he deserves a little more respect and time from you all.

We aren't under or over achieving we are where we should be.

No investment. Come on now

Relatively speaking we've pretty much won the lottery the amount our regular 1st XI cost

You do have to look at the investment into the 1st team squad over the last 10 years in regards to actually how much we have spend NETTO and conclude that we’ve overachieved with bells on

Care to elaborate then if that's not the manager's/coach's remit?

I am very much in the Poch in camp. People need to remember where we were before he arrived.
If however he does decide to leave then Allegri would be an incredible appointment
