I don't even care if I'm dirty for saying it but Mourinho would 100% win us a few trophies if he had this squad for the next 2-3 years. Trouble is Eriksen, Verts, Toby, etc could all be gone next year.
I think we have had enough of the project for a while. Jose for couple of years might actually be good for us.

I still believe he is the best man for the job and I think the failure of the transfer window 2018 has come home to roost. Poch and Levy both have to share responsibility.

However choosing to bring Wanyama on instead of Dier for me is the single worst decision hes ever made in a game for me, that takes some doing as we've seen some fucking howlers.

I really want him to get through this tough period but even I have to accept that decisions like Sanchez at rb and bringing Wanyama on over Dier is putting his feet to the fire.

I was nearly going to thumbs-up this. Then I thought about a few years ago when we needed to secure all are 'untouchable players' on long-term contracts and build competition into the squad. We didn't and that's not on Poch, but the board.

Actually I understand why Eriksen wants to leave. He is a first class playmaker but the previous seasons he has had to work as a dm so that a completly mediocre Alli could have his luxury role and looking for tap-ins.

Poch for me. Levy has to back him end of story. Get players in earlier for him to work with and shift players out of the club quicker.

Us having Mourinho as manager means levy would need to change his transfer approach. That will never happen. It would be an utter disaster between those two.

Apart from that I’d have him at spurs. He’s one of the great modern day managers. But so was George Graham at the time we had him. I think it would go the same way.

Agree with everything but I’m not convinced he’d want to come to us
Your probably right of course, it would be a massive ask and he would probably rub Levy up the wrong way. We also would have to wait until end of season. I do think he will move soonish tho. There has been rumblings about wanting a new challenge for a while. I also think they have a good shot at winning the league this year so may make him at least think about us. Sadly I just don't see any world class manager wanting to work for Levy.

Getting bored of everything he says atm quite frankly & judging by our performances id say the players are reacting the same way

Lots of people complaining about Pochs tactics etc but right now I don’t really know what our best system or formation is and not sure many posters on here have come up with fantastic alternatives although clearly the Diamond is the least effective of his formations in his time with us

The issue to me is that we needed to keep turning over playing staff and freshening the squad up but we know have the same stale team from 2014/15 playing most of whom peaked 2 years ago especially with Lo Celso and Sess out at this point

That’s not our job though is it? I feel for Poch as I think he’s been hamstrung by our transfer business over the last few years, but he decided to try three and the back, abandon it for the diamond and to do away with a DM etc etc. He sets out the tactics, style etc.

Not saying I want him gone, but he doesn’t get a free ride.

Stranger things have happened. I unlike many wouldnt mind howe if it came to it. Punching above his weight at Bournemouth and has worked miracles for a club of that stature.

Alli is not mediocre or a luxury you really have a short memory. 1 Alli's been injured for a long time and is basically coming back for injury 2 last season he was played much deeper and not in his so called luxury role.

You are a hater quite obviously the guys not even in the squad yet you want to criticise him for Eriksen wanting to leave not signing the contract....WOW!!

If Poch goes, my own worthless opinion is it would be Howe. Somebody Levy can still stubbornly run the transfer strategy the way he always has (grimace). It feels to me that Poch has conceded defeat to Levy, and is resigning himself to walking end of season.
Two months ago you were all about ‘Pochettino has been backed, got the signings he wanted, now it’s up to him to deliver’.

Only you know your reasons for this change in stance, but quite frankly our squad is more than good enough to make 3rd a minimum expectation, both in terms of quality and depth, so if this season does go to shit even the most ardent of Levy/ Enic doubters will be grasping at straws to place blame on the ownership.
