It's why he met up with SAF, to learn how to build a dynasty. I do wonder about Shaw being given a contract extension and Martial not being sold as possible signs that MP is on the way there.Another dynasty man like SAF

He'll take Dele, Harry, Christian and probably Sissoko with him ... It's not like I didn't tell you ...It's why he met up with SAF, to learn how to build a dynasty. I do wonder about Shaw being given a contract extension and Martial not being sold as possie signs that MP is on the way there.
Please do expound, because anyone can know the above from reading the press. Do you have information to the effect that MP will be leaving if DL doesn't get him what he wants? I get the impression that in the summer DL took his eyes off the ball due to the issues with the stadium.I have said on a few posts that some fans have to take the blinkers off. Believing all is well with the hierarchy. In other words; believe what you want. It is not all well though. The ball is in DL’s hands, and he knows it.
So, is your premise that he isn't going, or that why are we so bothered? He'll take Dele, Harry, Christian and probably Sissoko with him ... It's not like I didn't tell you ...
I'm caught between the two at the moment. I want to know which side to back and then fit in with the in crowd. So, is your premise that he isn't going, or that why are we so bothered?
Right ok my bad yes I see what he means now.He means building a dynasty at Man U if he went there, no?
Or are you still pining after former managers?I'm caught between the two at the moment. I want to know which side to back and then fit in with the in crowd.
No, building a dynasty here.He means building a dynasty at Man U if he went there, no?
Yeah, I miss the gilet if I am honest.Or are you still pining after former managers?
I still really struggle to see him at Madrid. A place with no time or patience for 'projects', where you're more likely than not to be sacked within the year and you have to cater to egos rather than chuck them out. It just doesn't sound like Poch at all. I wonder if he's feigning interest as a bargaining chip more than anything here because if I was worried about him going anywhere right now it'd be Man Utd.
tend to think that neither Real Madrid or Utd are the right two clubs for Poch.I still really struggle to see him at Madrid. "We also have a couple of players that are not contributing to the team and that we're trying to sell , if reports are to be believed are costing the club close to £10m a year."Reading this thread makes me fully understand how media outlets like Talk sport and Sky Sports News make so much money and continue to grow. People are in a continual loop of meltdown over the pending crisis(es) and we don't seem to learn...ever.
Look at this situation logically and with an appreciation of Levy and Poch being nothing more than human beings working for Spurs as a football club. Levy is the chairman, he's trying to safeguard the financial wellbeing of the club. We've just overspent ridiculously on a stadium that we'restill not playing in and at the same time paying rent to Wembley for our game time there. We also have a couple of players that are not contributing to the team and that we're trying to sell , if reports are to be believed are costing the club close to £10m a year. He obviously wants a successful team as anyone would. Poch is the manager, he wants to bring in specific players to improve the team, very specific players. He will be measured by the success of the team on the pitch therefore he will apply pressure to Levy to get in those players.
The result will be there will be a compromise of some sort and the two will continue as normal. It's nothing to piss ourselves about.
Same thing happens with every manager in every club in the world
My basic state of mind at the moment."We also have a couple of players that are not contributing to the team and that we're trying to sell , if reports are to be believed are costing the club close to £10m a year."
That being the case, I hope that we are realistic about what we are selling them for as it seems pointless holding out for a higher transfer fee as their value will be steadily diminishing but they will doubtless still be picking up the same wages.
Yes, I agree that Levy is looking out for the interests of the club but eventually, if he doesn't start backing Poch in the transfer market so that he can achieve more than just top 4 then I wouldn't blame him for casting his eye around at other clubs. I'm not going to get stressed every time a big club is looking for a new manager though - there is f all we can do about it.
I really can't see much changing with regard to the transfer budget in the short term.My basic state of mind at the moment.
He didn't look like a happy Poch in that video, especially when pushed on Janssen .

Sometimes you have to do that, because the journalists often ask inane questions or ones with an agenda.Have to say I really hope Poch doesn't turn himself into one of these miserable, prickly managers that can't get through an interview without belittling the journalist. Its quite boring.
