There are a couple of factors here to take into consideration:
1. Has Levy backed Poch enough? Answer : probably not but at the same time we've had to build a £1bil stadium so we are really at a tipping point now, do we keep backing poch or do we cut our ties now and back the new guy?
2. Is Poch good enough for what we want to achieve NOW? Answer : Personally I don't think he is. He was the perfect yes man to motivated a young hungry talented squad and he did wonders for us BUT tactically he's not good enough and I don't think he's a brilliant motivator or man manager compared to a Klopp or Pep.
3. Are the players still playing for him? Answer : yes and no, some are and some clearly have their heads turned.

There are two things here, one is Poch(the manager), the other is Levy(the chairman).
I think both can be improved or can improve. Levy is now at a point where he simply HAS to back whoever the manager is with some better investment so we can push on as a club and use the revenues we're now generating to improve ON the pitch, now he has said he will in his latest minutes but lets see if he puts his money where his mouth is over a number of windows. As for Poch I think we'd all love him to turn this around but many of us are doubting that he can and I'm again putting it out there that we NEED a WORLD CLASS PROVEN manager.

Over the past 10 years Chelsea have had:
Peak Jose.M
Anchelloti
Scolari
Sarri
Hiddink
Benetiz
Jose 2.0

Now i'm not saying these guys are all good options NOW or that we could've got any of these previously as I don't think we had the money to offer these managers or were an attractive enough an option but right now we should be able to finally attract a WORLD CLASS proven manager and i think that + proper consistent backing in the transfer market will get us to where we want and NEED to be on the pitch.

You've taken us this far Levy now its time to earn your money and find Poch's replacement.

We are supposed to be a “top” club now. Well top clubs are ruthless and they would never accept our position nor performances. Some may say Poch has earned some time due to us doing so well last few years ( yet never winning anything ). Leicester ( who most wont even deem a top club sacked Raniery less than a year after miraculously winning the PL. We will never be a top club unless we demand better and never accept such low standards.

yup and i thought this as soon as they played us in his first match they outplayed us with a very poor side and Poch had already had 1.5 years working with our team i think, Klopp did wonders at Dortmund and went toe to toe with Guadiola, Poch has done a great job for us for sure but Klopp is on another level, anyone who beats the we finished above them stick hasn't got a clue, they've improved every year, they've reached what 5 finals we've reached 1, they've got 2nd highest record points total in PL and went head to head with billionaires city, we've not come close to any of this and poch is now getting found out. Klopp has a system and way of playing that is so effective and hard to play against and he's recruited to suit that system, poch is a bit all over the place to be honest, constantly chopping and changing players and systems.

Klopp is WORLD CLASS manager.
Lucas and VAR got us to the CL final not Poch on his own.

Don't you get bored of making the same point over and over again :D

Klopp and pep are on another

1,000,000% this. I said this a few months back and I also said it when Liverpool got klopp that he is the level of manager we need. Poch is no where near klopp and pep.

1,000,000% spot on and it’s a combination of both, Liverpool have recruited better than us and klopp is a better manager than poch

@PeeLee @tooey please do explain why you disagree and think that either we’ve recruited better than Liverpool and/or that poch is a better manager than klopp...

@C-oops how is that spam? I knew Klopp would take Liverpool to levels we could only dream of and that is due to both the club being more aware of how to build a successful team than levy and our recruitment team are and also due to klopp being a better manager than poch.

Klopp way better than poch.

I'm sure the Klopp fan club would embrace you with open arms :sneaky:

you do come over as a twat sometimes, always trying to whined people up

i didn't say it wasn't on, but it's fact something you don't seem to like seeing if it doesn't suit your agenda. just because when you play FM manager things like a team playing 3 times in a week, or not having a break for 2 years might not affect your players. well they do, hence why our injuries have been so high. yes before you actually think about replying perhaps Poch shouldn't train so hard, then I will agree, but we have seen a teams stats change over his time at the club with winning games from losing positions late on, when before he come wasn't 1 of our highest points.
Personally, I don't disagree with any of your arguments/excuses, but they are wearing a little thin now. Football is football. Games are played every three days at the top level and you have to adapt. Individuals make mistakes. Conditions are against you.

But if you want to compete at the highest level and win trophies, they can't be reasons/excuses for defeats, certainly not excuses for our points total/away record.

Ultimately, football managers get paid to work well under those conditions and the best managers adapt best. If you can't, you don't last.

Would have loved nothing more than Poch turning it around . Have just seen this too many times at too many clubs and it only ends with the manager leaving. Also it’s not as if this has just been this season but this has been going on since January and to be honest further as we really were playing poorly at the beginning of last season and getting away with it.

This season Poch has shown me nothing to prove he knows what to do to affect change. Again regardless of those wanting to leave or the club wanting them to leave we should still have had enough to beat Newcastle, Watford, Brighton, Sheffield Utd or Colchester. His tactics , in game management and substitutions have at times been odd and other times absolutely abysmal.

I love what he has done for us as there have been some great times. However I love Spurs a hell of a lot more than I do Poch.
We all love Tottenham more than we love Poch Harry Kane Glen Hoddle Son and Ledley King it goes without saying. Last season we went on an unbelievable journey in the CL we also suffered injuries at key moments had to deal with the stadium delays playing at Wembley moving to the new stadium we did finished top 4, we were a home win against Everton away from finishing 3rd all under Poch watch. Sentiment doesn't go well in football, its about the results now that said IMO Levy has to spend BIG regardless if Poch is here or not what we have in our squad isn't good enough and needs to be refreshened up.

Whether he goes or stays the loan/youth policy needs to change as it's a disaster. The whole not going anywhere because they might pick up bad habits thing is pretty laughable

Can’t believe there’s still people that want to blame this on our transfer dealings or that our players are suddenly not good enough.

Would Palace or Newcastle win more games with Son or Kane added to there squads? Obviously
Do we have better squads than those teams? Obviously
Yet here we are behind both in the table managed by Roy Hodgson and Steve fucking Bruce.

Honestly just don’t get why Poch has been allowed to keep this rot going
When you have players at your club not fully on board with the project they become a cancer its very simple. Dybala was a deflection we failed to move players on. Levy has to get the cheque book out with or without Poch.

We managed to send a player on loan (Clarke) and he is learning nothing - that's peak loan, nailed it Spurs.

Absolute bizarre that no one in the press is putting on any pressure for Poch's head. I have no fucking clue.
Must be because we're a "small" club in the media and the happy-writers is all fine with the situation. Mental.
There’s definitely pressure building up in the press for Poch now.
I’ve read numerous articles about him potentially leaving and being under pressure.

Looking at the table and the next round of fixtures

I fully expect us to lose at West Ham - they will go above us.
Everton should beat Norwich at home - they will go above us
Villa probably should just be favourites at home to Newcastle - with a 4 goal swing.... they go above us.

That would leave us 17th SEVENTEENTH

If Watford then go and beat Burnley we would be 2 points off the bottom three.

But this only a bit of a small problem and Poch can fix it.

Its real. Looking at the fixtures, we seriously could be in the bottom 3 at the end of November. How has it got THIS bad

No need to be insulting Lighty, I haven't insulted you.

hmmmm do I need to go back through every response and name you have called me.

if you don't agree with my views without any back up that my excuses are wrong then don't reply. least when I disagree with someone I argue my view, and don't go OTT with numbers.

you keep calling my views excuses but not once argued with an opinion why I'm wrong,
