Its bad enough that our start to the season has been lame, the transfer window similarly so in terms of squad enhancement but as it stands, at almost midday after the conclusion of the window, we still have no full squad list on the homepage of the club website?

Do you honestly not think the squad has imporved on last season? I agree an other stiker or at least a back backup to Kane should have been signed but apart from that I see a good mixture in midfield and at last sum speed up front and wide.

for me the litmus test will be a wet evening in Yorkshire...i dont worry about technical ability of the squad, its whether they have any heart for a battle that concerns me most. I also worry that the longer we go without a win, the more pressure will build on what is still a very young team.

I seen some progress against Everton, we were the better team all over the park for most of it. I think we have some steel in the squad, all be it quite young steel but these players will all get better if Dier plays like he did at the weekend consistantly with perhaps a little more composure I can see him doing well. I think adding N'Jie and Son give us both pace and if the reports are true a very high workrate. It all very much depends on how quickly these 2 can adapt and perform. I still have some faith, I feel more connected to this bunch than I did the last 2 seasons, I am not quite sure why but I feel it. I like what I have seen of Toby, Rose, Alli, Dier and Walker so far this season, we havent been terrible thus far we have just been meh we can only get better..... right?

Some people post some really interesting stuff on this site and I am glad to be a member. This post does not fit in that category.

Who are we playing in Yorkshire? Has Sunderland moved?
