I don't care about Rossi this Modric that etc. Ledley is the most important and best player we have. When he plays Spurs plays.

I hope and pray that rumours of his knee condition becoming more manageble are true and the sight of him in pre season training warmed my cockles.
Simples!

I'd love to see a compilation of all of King's finest moments.

It could be called a 'deadly Ledley medley'.

I can't get to excited about Ledley as another season like the last and it will be his last imo. Unbelievable player but he only played 6 league games last season and with his contract running out next year I doubt he'll get a new one unless he can somehow play 25-30 league games next season. Probably become a coach.

Let it go. Cartiledge doesn't regenerate. His knees aren't going to magically get better.

And the "Only got one knee, better than John Terry" song is golden

I hope Ledley's not the key to the new season because we can't rely on him, unfortunately.

I think the OP is pointing to the fact that if he plays more games than last season then we'll be much better off.

In the run that got us fourth, Ledley was playing midweek as well, it's no coincidence that we finished the season so well with Ledders and Dawson at the back.

If we can get 20 league games out of him, he could be the difference between 5th and 4th.

We need to replace him unfortunately. Tragic how his career has panned out but sentimentality doesn't win you matches.

Ohhhhh Ledley, Ledley...
He's only got one knee.
Still better than John Terry,
Oh Ledley, Ledley!

I'd absolutely love it if we could get a good 20-25 games out of him this season. How likely that is I don't know.

Gallas+King = rock solid central pairing.

Sadly, King isn't 'key' to anything anymore.

He's a wonderful bonus when he plays, but his problems are well documented. Gallas, Dawson and Kaboul are perfectly ample, and, presumably if Bassong goes, they will look to bring in someone else.

We can't rely on King even as a back up CB

If he's fit it's a bonus but we should plan as if he's not even at the club
