Can we go back to how is was before. Please!
Only problem with that is the amount of effort it takes to moderate it, not to mention the amount of shit A&C has had to take over the years.
Can't think there would be too many volunteers for that role.

I think maybe that us members need to take a bit more responsibility, like restraining ourselves from getting embroiled in off-topic arguments, or calling out those that are getting carried away.

It is rather easy to get carried away with what is so often a pretty emotive subject, so maybe a bit more in-house policing is required?
I quite like the freedom we've been given but completely agree that some folk are taking the piss a bit, and the continuous pissing and moaning is annoying.

I have a twitter account that I check and it's full of melodramatic accounts and people fighting in the comments sections about everything spurs related.

I come here then and I appreciate the snippets of ITK we're given and I usually see balanced opinions and discussion in relation to it which is much more enjoyable than the twitter meltdowns and certainly more valuable.

Cheers to the ITKs and keep up the good work hopefully the people having meltdowns the past few days don't turn you off sharing info!

Tbf it's not just the itk. The amount of rant posts being generated by media and more so aggregator headlines has increased dramatically this window as well.

There's a reason why it's been asked not to post them and to post the source instead(which people are still failing to do), but at least read the articles, and look for the quotes before reaching for the shoe laces ffs.
Agree.

Football fans across the board feel they're more informed than ever before, and thus feel like they're more entitled to have an opinion (that they deem is laden with fact) than ever before. And the fault of this (imo) is the endless stream of i'nformation' readily accessible at the touch of a finger on an iPhone or tablet. Its not the case that anyone is more informed, its just the modern day phenomenon that everyone and anyone thinks that their opinion and assessment of any given situation is just and correct based on a liked retweet, or validation from another browser that concurs with their opinion.

Same in all aspects of life. Everyone thinks they know all there is no know, and isn't afraid to broadcast or tweet it, and that gets shared and so it goes on and on.

I define a regret as something you didn't do, and a mistake is something you did do. I think there should be regrets around how Edwards was managed (comparing him to Messi etc, barely any loans or game time).

I don't think it was a mistake to sell him.
I regret both decisions I’ve made and those I haven’t. I do however gain more from the decisions I made (that latterly didn’t work out) than the ones I didn’t pursue.

I think we both agree that Edwards isn’t pulling up trees and wouldn’t be a starter for us now.

They just don’t get it Trix! ?
As you know we have separate ‘budgets’ if that makes sense.
Absolutely perfect sense, scouts from all Orem games at every academy game along with across all leagues, it’s a thing that helps the lower clubs survive. Develop players, get paid for it!

Listen up!
I do not want to get hung for getting it wrong, as sharing as I get it. Vibes are PL set to decline their request. Heavy doze of salt please
This scares me. Know we will fuck it up and lose to them and it will be embarrassing and Conte will then immediately resign and Vlahovic will be seen celebrating the win with the Arsenal players on the pitch. Just postpone it. Postpone them all indefinitely

Hopefully it turns out that way. I think you're right and they will decline it.

It will set such a ridiculous precedent...making a massive rod for their own backs.

Yeah, 100% this. There are threads for enic, conte, is dier shit or the best defender since King ledley, is glc using us to get fir to Argentina. Etc. Etc.
If peeps could just use em vs posting here..
That said, a lot of posts are coz people care. So, emotional responses, which, tend not to think first "what is the most appropriate venue to express this feeling"
But hey, may e if we all try hard, this thread is a bit of a calmer space, and, the ITK which, let's face it is why we are in this damn thread, feel a little less shite about having to wade through or respond to all the emotional reaction at every twist and turn...
Hope that resonates. Vs just adding more swirl to the cauldron.

It's getting out of hand now and they have to draw the line soon or the season will never end.

If the PL have any skepticism then I think the game will go ahead (unless they have new covid cases). When you look at the actual team they will put out its going to be one U23 player starting (Patino) at most. The way its being talked about they would be forced to play a whole team of them!

Of course they could hide behind the Leicester precedent and postpone.

I think the media noise against this may play a significant part.

The only reasonable, logical and right thing to do is for the request to be rejected, so of course it will probably be the opposite.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if the PL do the right thing.

For me this is bigger than spurs. It’s about the integrity of the PL. How on earth can we have a situation where PL clubs can postpone games because they have injuries and suspensions. That’s part of football, that’s the game and why you have a squad. If the PL allow this, it’s another part of our game that’s broken. It just seems to be getting worse and worse nowadays, VAR, poor refereeing, oil country sponsored clubs, these Postponements. Game is gone. Authorities need to get a grip.
