Conversations being had regarding Eriksen.

There's an awful lot to be considered here, and this is super early stages so keep that in mind.

Could be a potential win - win ... (as long as the medical side is all kosher)

  • Massive desire to play WC 2022, therefore has to prove himself, therefore has to give his all and play well
  • Proving and settling himself at Spurs would be an advantageous option, he knows the club, peeps etc easier to fit and slot in quickly and feel at home
  • Conte and him are very well versed with each other from Inter, no unexpected demands, Eriksen knows the score
  • Interim short term class playmaker we are so badly devoid of, bonus of not having to shell out £££millions
  • Dont think his salary would be silly figures, most likely very affordable
  • Ready made Free Kick taker (will still require a corner kick taker :sneaky::whistle:lol )

Can we sign and register him outside the transfer window?
say he trained with us to prove fitness ect but the window closed, can we sign him up and he’ll be eligible?

As he is on a free as not with any club we can sign him at any point, would just depend if we then have space to register him for the league I guess.

Play him 60mins a game, enough time to show his quality. Still lean to him not playing again though

It’s not my job to know how his heart is, that’s for the doctor’s to decide. But I know what my heart wants and that’s to see him back.

Would love it if there’s a way!

I know his situation is different per the circumstances and I haven't looked into it to0 much tbh, but does he currently have what Blind and a few others have on his heart when playing?

I know Blind had that scare and has been able to play since, you'd hope Eriksen could do the same if he can overcome the mental aspect. Whatever makes him happy at this point honestly!

He hasn't played a competitive game for some time, I don't doubt that he can play again. Just how long will it take for him to get back to full match fitness. If a deal is possible though, I'm all for it.

I love Eriksen, probably my favourite player of the recent years but I want him to retire with his family.

That said I'd love him around the training ground, seems a really sound bloke and an excellent professional.

Eriksen was superb for us but in that final season he dipped dramatically and is not the same player we remember - and this is without the medical issues.

Wish him well but we need to set ourselves up for the future.

I love Eriksen. Was heartbroken when he decided to leave and when his form deteriorated. Was more heartbroken when I saw him collapse on the pitch though. Time stopped still. Would love him back at the club in whatever role. Genuinely, if he still has the desire to do it, would love to see him back on the pitch at the top level - beautiful footballer. But, long-term, coach etc whatever. Love the lad. ?

Surely it’s worth a risk if someone leaves! Or even if they don’t as long as his wages aren’t too high I’d take him.

His form dipped because he knew he was leaving.

We can still set up for the future and bring Eriksen back.

Well if you’re looking for hungry players, Eriksen seems exactly that to me, considering he’s looking to play football again after lying dead on a pitch for 5 minutes and all.

FYI he also became a starter in Conte’s Scudetto winning midfield last season. Don’t think signing him would be just out of sympathy.

Exciting news. It could be the ideal environment for Eriksen to recover. He knows the city, club, manager, and most the players well. Seems like a win-win for both parties as long as we can structure a deal in our favor financially.

I'd take him back until the summer, until we can hopefully sign a creative midfielder.

His form dipped whenever his contract was up in the air. Once it got resolved he was able to play freely again. Something in his character that couldn't cope well with uncertainty. Playing for a World Cup place would inspire him to get back to his best.

i think he is far from contes ideal midfielder. barella or kante is a conte player eriksen isnt imo he used to run around a lot but i always knew he lacks fight and is quiet soft he will lose most 50/50s in midfield conte wants warriors in his ideal xi.give me bissouma over him allday long

During at least his last 6 months at Inter, he was giving it his all and making sliding tackles. He fit in well, he made the team tick. Eventually. Whether he's gonna be able to do it again, I'm not sure, and he probably won't be in proper form anyway until around the end of the season. It'd be a gamble for sure.
