It is annoying how difficult it can be to blood youngster but bear in mind, it’s a result of the fact that we have been competing in the top 6 at worst for a long time now. Cream always rises to the top. People may look a little enviously at Arsenal bringing some through just now, but remember that’s at least part and parcel of the fact that their squad was a mess and poor for a few years that saw them have two 8th place finishes in a row where they were afforded the room to bring in younger people. Whilst their fans went mental at the same time of course. Can your imagine how we’d be if we’d finished 8th two years running

But they somehow grabbed 4 FA cups in the last 8 years (IIRC).

Good to see us looking at players in the lower divisions. It might not be the flash signings @Aphex wants but it’s a good source of HG talent. Seems to be working for Palace with regards to Eze and Olise. Gelhardt at Leeds looks like he has potential to be a decent player as well.

Yep i agree. Olise in particular looks to be a real find.

And not sure why we've not done this before by going into the lower division to see if we can find some talent. Much in the same way that Liverpool did with their wing backs.

Wish I could remember his name but iirc Forrest had that one player who was very good against arse. I remember reading praises for him on Twitter.
