I get what you are saying but if we didn't take a risk we wouldn't be a football club, Vlahovic would cost around £60m but there is no guarantee he will be a success, would you rather the club just didn't bother in case we end up paying him £200k a week and it doesn't work out? In fact i can't think of a single player Spurs have ever bought that wasn't a risk, all players for all clubs are a risk, succeeding at Real Madrid etc doesn't guarantee a success at Spurs.
Praying this is true ?
He's so good and can play anywhere across the front 3

Agree. But the bolder bit has me wondering at times.
We are like Tesla. A tech co that does cars. Only with with us it’s like a prop company that dabbles in Sport.

Another great purchase by Luis Campos. Paratici has a long way to go yet to convince me that he has a similar eye for talent
It's a different job scouting for a top 6 premier league club than a French Club in League 1.
Also hasn't Paratici proved himself building up the Juventus team in Serie A.
I still feel Paratici needs to acclimatise himself into English Football though.
Brilliant - more good news to cheer us up.Paratici was more or less only a head scout under Beppe Marotta until the latter left for Inter in 2018. Coincidentally, that's when Juves decline and Inters surge towards the top began. Paratici might have a good eye for a player but there are legitimate question marks over his decision making as a DOF both from his time at Juve, and his time here.
Traore price went up all of a sudden ?I might be wrong because I haven't heard much on this but my feeling is he's coming in to be part of Hitchen's team looking at younger prospects with potential and not £50mil first team players.

I don't know, maybe people are trying to stay positive. Not a lot we can do when he's obviously highly regarded by Levy and has a good relationship with Conte.Exactly this! Fed up of hearing people on here banging on about how Paratici built Juventus up and appointed Conte and Allegri etc… He really didn’t! That was Marotta. Paratici was just his assistant until 2018. The decline in Juventus can actually be traced back to when Paratici took over the job. It’s pretty much his signings at the club now and look how they have been doing for the past 2 seasons….
The jury is definitely out on him and so far he really hasn’t impressed since joining us.
Agree. It's odd that it's being reported that we won't loan Tanganga this week, not this window. Taken together, it hints at us expecting to have a CB in by then, at which time we're happy to have Japhet leave on loan.I think Trix added to the post he quoted that targets later shifted to prioritising a cm over a cb but that could have again changed of course, particularly with the tanganga news
Yes, the return or Dier and/or Romero.Agree. It's odd that it's being reported that we won't loan Tanganga this week, not this window. Taken together, it hints at us expecting to have a CB in by then, at which time we're happy to have Japhet leave on loan.
Ha. Had completely forgot about Romero back by then. Good point!Yes, the return or Dier and/or Romero.
