That double on 18. Brutal.
If it was his caddy that told him to do that stinger drive he should fire him on the spot. But judging by his face when marking his card I think he made the call and was devastated about it. Just madness. Needed a 5 to force the playoff, why mess around?

Have to feel for Pereira but what was he thinking trying to.cut.that drive. Brutal last hole.

Can't overlook that clutch par putt from Zalatoris on 18. Justin almost won by default!

Brutal for me as well. Backed him at 120/1 though I'm still in profit on the each way.
Thought I'd repost as I've Ryan Fox in the Dutch Open. Just double bogeyed the last with a 3 shot lead.

Perez has birdied the 17th and they are now level as Perez is on the 18th.

Just lost the play off. Can't believe my luck the last couple of weeks after Pereira throwing it away last week

Another round, and another one that could have been.

9 over, with 2 doubles and a triple. Fuming. Weather turned when we finished as well and would have been tough for afternoon players.

Oh well. Another medal next week.

Don't like it. Very disappointing to see some of our own Ryder Cup legends involved as well.

Money talks though and surprised to see DJ take part, the rest of them are ones coming to the end of their career and haven't really been competing regularly for wins, apart from Phil winning the PGA last year.

7 over after 6 on Sunday, finished 10 over. Fuming. 4 over for the 6 would have won me the medal. Tough conditions with the wind and rain all day

Must admit I’d have thought after the last 18 months his PR team would have said don’t do it, especially after what you said in February, it’s not like you need the money so just stick to what you said…

Yeah, I think also, with Phil's well known liking for a wager is coming into play here even if he says its not.

Poulter and Westwood were giving 100 tickets each away over the weekend and apparently struggled to get people involved, so I hope it continues and falls flat on its face.

Not to say golf is perfect and the PGA and DP tours are brilliant all the time, they could do with some sort of innovation, what that is I don't know, there's only so much you can do with the game I suppose.

Tbh I have a bit of a fear over this whole thing. Golf camera operating on the European PGA tour comprises quite a large percentage of my yearly income and sportswashing nonsense like this threatens to rip it all up. Already, for the event in the UK, they are trying to peel off operators from the tour, offering more money, but without a concrete future or understanding over what’s happening, we aren’t doing it and showing loyalty to the broadcast company that employs us year round.

The broadcast should be interesting because there’s going to be a lot of inexperienced operators that don’t do golf, filming it, and I’ve got no idea who is going to be directing it and sub mix recording it.

Golf is not an easy sport to step into and do camera, it’s one of the hardest infact

They said woods had been offered £400m this morning on the radio, how on earth can that figure be justified? Fair play to the man!

Bit more info for anyone who has any interest, I certainly haven’t even though it’s just down the road from me as it sounds like a load of rubbish!

I want to look forward to this new event/tour/format. But I just can't because of the blood money and murderous regime that props it up.

I dont know much about golf but I know one thing - if someone was offering me the money that these golfers have been offered - id take it no questions asked.

I have seen a lot of comments on social media and lots of opinions voiced by many on radio etc and I can understand the moral issues but when you can sort out your family for generations upon generations - well, you cant blame it. I dont know exact figures but i read 200m for Mickelson? yeah im taking that

Most players in the game who are competing week to week are getting enough sponsorship and endorsements to sort them and their families for generations already. Without any prize money which is also astronomical.

For guys who are trying to make it in the big time, even they get the sponsorship but maybe not on the same scale bit of you're on the DP or PGA tour and in the top 120 on either come season end you'll be very very comfortable.

Phil Mickelson does not need the money, I can guarantee that.
