I've just realised that i'm going to miss the final day as have to catch a flight to Dubai for work (will also miss the Joshua v Uysk fight) ?...terrible planning on my part!
Turns out that you may exhibit covid symptoms on Saturday morning ?

I shall be watching every minute. Screw the football.
Same for me. Ill keep an eye on Livescore and flick if there's a goal. But I'm not moving from my spot all weekend.

I've even moved the TV to where it was in 2018 when we won it last time.

Weather looks amazing for the weekend. Perhaps some rain Friday but the weekend looks sunny with temps around 20C

Couple of thoughts on pairings;

Lowry/Rahm: is a great fourball pairing, lots of birdies in them.
Mcilroy/Garcia: two great ball strikers, have played together in a few Ryder Cups now, did well in Paris, birdie machines.
Westwood/Hovland: Westwood a guiding hand to the young gun, keep him settled and he'll do well.
Casey/Hatton
Wiesberger/Fleetwood
Poulter/Fitzpatrick

Although I'm probably wrong. Just guessing based off the first two days practice.

Won't be shocked to see Poulter and McIlroy play foursomes together. They did well at Medinah and in Paris

Thomas and Spieth are almost guaranteed to play both fourballs and foursomes together for the USA.

I was going to say before you just did, surely Poults and Rory in the Foursomes.

I thought we played up to the crowd perfectly yesterday, the Green Bay/cheese heads and nearest balls for pairings was a good bit of fun.
Weather looks like it might be on our side as well, I’m quietly confident of a really decent win for us.
What a great weekend of sport coming up!

USA always look great on paper don't they...such a shame for them that it's played on grass. I'm backing our experience and team ethic to shine through, take a 3/4 point lead into the singles, leaving them too much to do to make up the deficit.

USA 13 vs Europe 15

I dont watch much golf but any competition to beat the yanks in im down for - I mean just watching the ceremony, their suits were fucking shite, speech is meh and trying to turn it into a world series is always quite funny... oh and the Americans all sat there looking bored and really not united by my impressions.

The issue though I have with this is I always have with it and perhaps plays on my mind is its not really a fair competition - Europe is twice the size in population terms... so erm why. Its all historical I kinda get that. I mean are we even in Europe? a European national anthem etc?

True. but I also completely agree with Paddy's picks tbh.
He's probably gutted that Weisburger made it instead of Lowry so he could pick Rose
Agree on that although it would have been equally harsh to leave Wiesberger out. He's had an excellent couple of years. I expect him to do well though, he's competed well in The Open, the Irish Open and the other 3 majors. Course should suit him
