Ferrari engines dropping like flies all over the pack now, strange that red bull engines were a bit suspect at the start of the season those worries seem to have gone now
I think the FIA need to step in soon. Every driver has complained about back and neck pains. They’re going to do some serious long term damage if it isn’t sorted soon.Lewis looks fucked, George is very consistent, he's had better luck than Lewis mostly because he's qualifying has been better.
Mercedes need to stop that bouncing asap, I don't think any other car is that bad where you can clearly hear the floor hitting the tarmac over the engine.
I agree but Di Resta made a good point (!) that other cars aren't suffering (the floor hitting the tarmac) this badly and that Mercedes can fix it but they'll lose even more time.I think the FIA need to step in soon. I think it’s more than just that though. Obviously Merc are suffering the most with the bouncing but even the Ferrari was jumping all over the place today. There’s lots of research into CTE around NFL and I know there’s now concerns over drivers suffering similarly because of the unsteadiness of the cars.I agree but Di Resta made a good point (!) that other cars aren't suffering (the floor hitting the tarmac) this badly and that Mercedes can fix it but they'll lose even more time.
When the FIA steps in then Mercedes benefits and it could effectively even the field in this sense.
A bit like 2014-2020 with Mercedes/Hamilton? ?It won’t happen this year, but with a freeze on engine development in place I imagine FIA will step in with some changes otherwise they are looking at Red Bull coasting for the next few seasons with no competition - which would be bad for the series.
Red Bull have nailed the new regs. Ferrari appear to have as well but they are suffering from reliability issues. It won’t happen this year, but with a freeze on engine development in place I imagine FIA will step in with some changes otherwise they are looking at Red Bull coasting for the next few seasons with no competition - which would be bad for the series.
The issue is that international appeal of F1 has increased significantly in the last couple of years, having a single team dominate until 2024 can kill that momentum. They will intervene to prevent a single team dominatingA bit like 2014-2020 with Mercedes/Hamilton? ?
Possibly. I think it will still bring new fans in with drive to survive which personally for me is why I've got into it. I just think that it will become a case that most people will follow Red Bull rather than putting people off, which I'm doing and I'm loving it. Not making the mistake of picking a mid table team again as I did with Spurs ? going to enhoy being a glory hunter now haha. The issue is that international appeal of F1 has increased significantly in the last couple of years, having a single team dominate until 2024 can kill that momentum. Yeah by making up the rules as they go alongThe issue is that international appeal of F1 has increased significantly in the last couple of years, having a single team dominate until 2024 can kill that momentum. They will intervene to prevent a single team dominating
That is what they always do thoughYeah by making up the rules as they go along
Regarding Horner I have met him a few times over the last few years albeit very very briefly but I found him very nice and pleasant as I have with Toto although Toto was more chatty and funI wouldn't mind Red Bull if it wasn't for Horner and Marko. Those two are absolute c****
Is that you Michael?Regarding Horner I have met him a few times over the last few years albeit very very briefly but I found him very nice and pleasant as I have with Toto although Toto was more chatty and fun
