Ferrari must be watching a different feed, distracting the driver when he's attempting an overtake.

Ferrari, absolute clusterfuck today...

Also, Russell blames everyone else but himself when he makes contact. I swear, someone needs to have a word with him

Perez got played by Russell, don't see that often in those situations.

Now Perez is getting desperate.

i feel for Leclerc ..... and he has owned up to his mistake

but...

i am just wondering, rewind half a lap. was there a convo with the team and Charles...

- Max has pit early, we will stick to Plan A, I need you to push to cover the undercut.

just the added pressure onto him. personally, i was surprised they didn't cover the pitstop.

Seems actually inconclusive with the Leclerc crash, I know he admitted it was his "fault" but how? Just looks odd...

I'm only a bit skeptical because we know how chaotic the internal politics are at Ferrari

I agree with Rosberg, I think there's more to it and Leclerc just took one for the team.

Missed part of the race so didn't see the crash, but later on they talked about the wind, saying it can change directions and gust out of no where. Could easily have been pushing too hard, a gust then caught him out and he lost the back of it.

On the footage, as he goes into the corner the left rear tyre lays down rubber on the track and the back end breaks away as soon as it touches the painted area on the track. I think there's a throttle problem there and Leclerc has been told to keep it under wraps.

Been sat in traffic for nearly 3 hours on the M11, had to watch the highlights.

As others have said, Ferrari blew it today, but putting that last pit stop decision aside, the drivers can carry that can. Leclerc already said he cocked up, fair enough, but Sainz showed again that, under pressure and when he's frustrated, he makes rash decisions and stupid mistakes. Oh, and that release from the pits was mental.

That kerb that kept catching people out in the F2 and FW races, which if you took too many liberties with it would spit you out wide on the exit, Russell fell for too and exactly the same happened to him as did with the others, he clattered into the person he tried to dive up the inside of. Every other driver was giving it respect, just an inch extra, he should've known better.

Red Bull put up a good showing but radioing Checo while he was in the middle of that scrap with a pretty unpredictable Sainz was hilarious! "NOT NOW! NOT NOW!" - abso-cocking-lutely, had they not been watching the race at all? STFU and leave the man alone! :D :D

Just a bit of a mess of a race all round really, I doubt anyone is coming away from there proud of what they've done more than Hamilton - he seems to be more at ease with running his own race, at his own pace now than he was at the start of the season, instead of trying to race other drivers. Good luck to him, it's paying off.

Surely you meant Sainz with the radio message and can’t remember Sainz making any mistakes other than the team mistake by pitting him near the end

Russell gets P1 with a special lap, mixed up grid, looking forward to the race.
