For the final day, this thread turns into a discussion on all transfers so it's not limited to ITK but please do your best to keep out the crap.

Tag one of us if you want something going in the ticker so it doesn't get lost.

What we have to remember though is that it's finite and has to be spent well with the Summer also in mind. Over paying for something now will affect what we can and can't do in the Summer which will make things long term more difficult. It's definitely a juggling act.

There's also the potential for CL revenue if we gamble on a player now, who helps us to qualify.

So I guess from Trix info it's whoever we're working on, if one we were thinking of for the summer comes up or a chance of someone special.
Seems to me that leaves a fair bit of room for manoeuvre.?
Happy with what we've done and still optimistic for a bonus.?

"Strap in peeps" is exactly the kind of ITK you wanna get at the start of deadline day, when you live at GMT + 7:00 and you knock off just as things are about to get tasty.

The 'spend now vs spend in the summer angle' will be an interesting thing to keep in mind today, as I'm sure we won't be the only club thinking along those lines. Big time game theory happening today.

With Kulu and Bentancur (hopefully) coming in this already looks like a good window to me! Add a RWB to that and I would call it something like 8 or 9 out of 10. This is coming from a guy who rated the last window 4/10 in the post-deadline day thread we had in the summer.

Regardless of how well the new signings turn out in the end, I hope we can all remember that at this point it looked very promising, and if any of those players turn out to be duds it's not really fair to criticise Levy/FP with the benefit of hindsight. How a player actually develops is not really something they have active control over, and of course they want them to do well just as much as we do.

Lad who sent it on is serious but as I said his ratio of right calls isn't great. With the amount of names being thrown about I was just wondering if maybe it's one been mentioned behind the scenes here.
I'm putting very little stock in it but thought would just mention it here. If you lads haven't heard anything on it then will just count it as another miss for the lad

We heard a few new names behind the scenes last week but no one was really confident in them. Some of those names are starting to hit the press. I suspect we'll hear lots of names today and it's going to be mad!
