I cant see what jj said but it seemss like it was nice so thats very much sincerly appreciated. Hope he has not retired for any bad reasoning.

There is a hell of a lot going on at the club. Things will motor in the next few days. Watch for the squad taken to monaco that will give you a small insight. There is also an announcement due tomorrow (Thurs)

As for bale provide me with proof and I will change my mind.

Coys :)

He said tell your source at the club to sell Dempsey and Dawson and by Rebic.

I think I'm confused. I was just trying to imply that I think Ozil would be a good direct replacement as Bale played in a much freer role last season.

Mate I'd LOVE Ozil...but that wasn't what we were discussing, more of a comparison between Ozil and Di Maria.

Thing is, If we keep Bale i wouldn't want this season to be like the end of last where we are all just
waiting for him to smash it in from 20yards.
I support THFC not Bale FC.
I would take a well balanced, better overall team then just have one superstar player.
I would like to think we are trying to emulate great "teams" like Sacchi's Milan or Klopp's BvB
where its about team ethic not a reliance on galactico brilliance.
Thats just my opinion though, im aware not many others will share it.

In a perfect world I would take that for sure...but are 3-4 changes able to do that? Hopefully...

Or....... perhaps its time we stood up, and stopped rolling over and getting fucked, like the rest of society.

We have a choice. And I will be bang up for protesting that we don't want this board anymore , if we sell Gareth Bale.

So Gareth Bale side-steps any blame? I'm sure the board would not feel compelled to sell unless Bale keeps up a fuss and demands a move.

If the player is determined to go, in the end, the club can't do much but try and screw the purchasing club for every single penny. Players have all the power...

It's a shame as I am certain he will find the grass is not greener...

Must depend on what value we attribute him but anything after £10million and i'm struggling to see a good deal here.

Might as well keep Rose as first choice and all depends on whether we find a buyer for Benny but again, I tihnk we will massively overrate his worth in the current transfer market.
I'd rate him at £15m, got to remember that they paid £27m for him, although that was tantamount to rape by Benfica. He's twice the player that Rose is though, he can actually dribble like Bale around the opposition box, and is a tidy defender.

I don't believe for one second he has kicked up a fuss. However, he may have said I'd like to go. But we can easily say....we'll you can't. Done. Next year with two yrs left on deal , different story..

Ah not you too...
Manchester United were already at the top when they sold Ronaldo.
Whilst they could not buy a direct replacement, they had known he was leaving to RM for over a year, they made provisions and they stayed at the same league location AT THE TOP.

Spurs selling Bale does the same thing, it keeps us NOT at the top.
Come off it - we're not United are we. They already had 16 titles under their belt and have millions.

ManU didn't die because Ronaldo left them, because they have a fucking winner of a manager, who wouldn't let them. Do you honestly think they replaced Ronaldo ? Who with exactly ? Valencia ? Nani ? Young ? Be serious.

Like they didn't die when the lost Stam, Beckham, Scholes, Keane, Bruce, Pallister, Ferdinand, Vidic (injuries).

Surely it's only a matter of time before Kaka is thrown into the mix - not that i'm advocating it!

Yeah I can see Levy doing what he did with Modric. This summer being tough and keeping him, but a failure to qualify for CL next season and he would let him go.

Would there be a difference in valuation though 12 months down the line?

Amidst all the Bale speculation I just keep thinking back to him on the FIFA cover. For that reason I still don't think he'll go

Has everyone forgotten that screamer Di Maria scored against us in the CL?

Atouba scored a screamer for us once... Clearly must be good enough to replace Bale. Actually Dean Marney scored two, Levy get on that phone.

Why would they need to? The journalists are already all reporting on Bale leaving!
Because they are fed up with having their info all over the back pages - Ryan even states it has just appeared in the Mirror - as if to confirm the ruse has worked
