Whilst I'd love Shaw I can't see Southampton selling for any price we'd look to pay for a left-back. They've got a lot of money behind them too and are aiming for Europe too.
Plus the lad is a massive Chelsea fan and both they and United need a new left-back.
Without wanting to derail the thread, it'll likely only be a test for one of the managers - the one that falls behind. I'm just worried it'll be AVB due to our lack of goals.Sunday will be a true test for both managers to see which one has developed their team, tactics, and will give us all a view of the progress that AVB has made. Both managers have had a couple of seasons to develope their ideas and put them into action.
I for one can't wait.
