Surely no one expects us to sign a top striker. We'll certainly try and fail to sign any number, but it would be strange to expect Levy's MO to suddenly change.

The shame is that Villa and Paulinho would have been the lion's share of the remedial work done IMO anything else would have been tarting up. Obviously not Chief Dan's fault as even he'd have stretched to £5m.

Still, a chance to review ITK (always intriguing) and ponder our next move.

The fee seems to be 5m, maybe even less than that. I doubt even Levy would haggle with that. Fucking hell, engage brain surely?

I think its pretty obvious that staying in Spain, for a damn good team, and CL footy are bigger factors here than us penny pinching.

No not today as i know is very busy. But tbh from what i have heard before today is we thought we had agreed a fee but it wasnt finalised.(Rob will back this up as i sent him a pm with this info)
I think this is down to the player tbh. But that isnt ITK just opinion going on what i have already heard.

-Sorry wanted to add..... There is nothing saying he has agreed terms yet so mite not be over. Also could be that Atleico Madrid had a bid accepted and finalised first and have permission to talk. That really is not ITK! Just opionion!

Got to say that if we have that LOC or whatever it's called for the sort of amount that was previously considered correct then it certainly wasn't for David Villa. No way would Spurs have agreed to pay nearly twice as much for a player than he eventually goes for. Or would we?

absolutely agree. villa was always gonna pick a cl club over us. but to quote us 10 then accept 5..i think villa definitely told them take the 5, cause i'm never gonna agree with spurs now that theres this offer.
