Afternoon from sunny (at last) France!
Only been able to catch up sporadically due to crap Internet at our venue. Managed to convince the wife to take the kids swimming while I check the transfer news, she's a good girl :)

Interesting to read that Levy wants bale sorted by the NLD, that must mean he wants the squad settled by the weekend for early bragging rights and also not ruin a good start to the season. Clutching at straws but could we finish our business by Friday?

lamela; yes please! Any news on the roster of players signed to the Italian agent we are speaking with?

Au revoir mon amies!

Perhaps we should open talks re Bale with ManU (and other interested PL clubs) just to distract them from other targets until we land Lamela? After we land Lamela we tell them to fuck off. Would be a nice Joorabchianesque move. ;)

We've followed Leandro for a couple of years now so I would not be surprised if we're still monitoring him. His stock has fallen since the Olympics as well so I think Daniel Levy will get a good deal on him now. I think now could finally be the time. Again!

Regarding Ali Z's info on Bale, I know for a fact that United would be Bale's preferred destination if he had a choice. Makes me a bit suspicious....

Yup. Bale wants to play in the CL and challenge for titles. If that meant he could stay in the UK and be the same distance away from Cardiff I'm sure he'd jump at that.

There is good reason for the fact that his stock has fallen, as in anybody who has seen him play more than a couple of games can tell; he is really not very good. In fact I'll just come out and say something that many will find unpopular, he will never be as good as Adebayor is now..

SSN reporting that Bale has emptied the pram and stayed at home refusing to come to work.

Maybe I might try that on Monday 2nd.

Surely his contract will be running down too. That, along with not being in the confed cup recently and potentially falling behind Fred could mean a much cheaper deal. he's at an age now where he needs to move to develop and has seen Neymar, Paulinho and Bernard all leave Brazil recently, when a lot of talent was sticking around for longer.

Why are people worried about this Bale "news" if he is actually refusing to train then he will end up staying as Levy will just say "fuck you then Gareth, we don't have to even have to negotiate"

Not sure about the final sentence but I'm relieved we are not actively chasing Damaio this summer. Has been very poor for a good 12-18 months domestically.

IF that is true, how is it any different to handing in a transfer request?! For me it's worse.

At least there is an honesty and transparency to handing in a transfer request.

just sayin - upi dont know how good Ade is now..... seen him play one good game in over a year so if youre 100% certain of this fact then what youre saying is that playing with 10 men is better than having Leandro.

Edit: im not a leandro fan, just cant understand illogical posts.
