We seem to have agreed what we will pay as a flat fee but the overall fee hasn't been agreed.

We went through days and days of this 'fee negotiating' shite with Soldado and Paulinho, but got there. In fact most of it was more 'How to pay?' rather than 'How much?'

Amazingly, (and despite some, but seemingly less than usual, bargaining on the fee front) it appears we have been able to identify players, agree mutual interest and progress fairly effectively this year.

Obviously Willian was the fail on that front but otherwise, we've secured some cracking players relatively unopposed.
