Jesus Christ. Catching up on 10 pages, 99% of which is people struggling to rub two brain cells together. Don’t let logic get in the way of confidence eh lads.
Some of the guesses are so ridiculous, how do you think they would have even come up with a cryptic like that. Work it backwards.

It's why I love SC. I've been on here for nearly 17 years and will never tire of the joyous, creative speculation.

Who was the herbert who cracked after The Goat posted his first cryptic for a year or so? I might have to make the next one something special and double hard as a treat for him :sneaky:

Ok, I’ll bite… is this the cryptic itself?

“Something Special” = Jose (Mourinho)

“Double hard as a treat for him” = no idea.

Any players whose first name is “Jose”?

If someone cracked the cryptic then it was very much an accident.

The good old “name every footballer in the world and one of them will be right” tactic. Fiendish.

I think A&C is talking about the person who moaned about the cryptic, rather than who solved it.

Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay
This was a pretty easy one and a number of people were on the right track and TBF it was pretty obviously about Napoli. You won't get off so lightly the next time. We used this song as there's repetition throughout (tippy tippy tay, tippy tippy tay)

Interest in two players from Napoli.

TWO players?! I'm sure that will stop the guessing at least... :cautious:

Also think it’s relevant that @rebrab has mentioned Napoli being a possible destination for Tanganga

Given Herc says we're in talk with N'dicka, if that's the LCB we end up with it looks like we could have a lot more money than initially planned to spend in other areas. Bastoni, Torres and Gvardiol would all be 50m or above but N'dicka should be less than half of that.

Wonder if that's related to us suddenly targeting Napoli players, who presumably wouldn't come cheap.
