But has there been any ITK/news on whether we're going for a striker in the mold of someone like Kane or more a wide player like Son who can cover if Kane needs to be rested?

iirc there was ITK that Conte wants a physically large striker

It’s funny, for some reason I just assumed that he’d stay at Brentford. Not sure why, but just didn’t see him actually coming back here.

I guess they tried to get him to sign a 4 year contract and he wasnt wanting to commit the rest of his career to them as im sure he still has ambitions and wants to achieve a bit more in the game.

Makes sense. Wasnt sure if we were going to try and bring Parrott into the 1st team. Although he probably needs another season on loan and ideally in the championship.

feel very sorry for brentford. feels a bit like when utd just to come and nick our best players just because they could.

Don't feel sorry for them yet, he's still yet to come

I do think it's a bit different though, with Brentford it has to be fully expected really. They have a world class player in their team who could get into almost any team when not so long ago they were in the Championship. I think he's been a blessing for them even if it was just to help them avoid relegation in their first season in the Prem.

Hopefully he does come though, would be 2 incredible players in without paying any transfer fee.

Didn't Levy in the Amazon prime documentary say that Eriksen's agent wouldn't talk to him when he CE was looking to leave the club?

Told DL leading the negotiation for Eriksen trying to tie it up this week.

And before anyone says anything everyone fully on board with this, and it makes a lot of sense as he has a very good relationship with both CE and his reps.

That came across in the documentary when DL offered to match any offer CE receives financially. Wonder if he'll be as generous this time round ?

I'd love it to be Scamacca however we have been linked to a player of similar profile in his club's local press today. I wonder if it's him. (I don't know who we contact to try and start new threads these days).

My comment was from almost two weeks ago now, certain things have changed but certain other things havent, like the need for money and our ability to either help or complicate things for them…its still very early and we’ve got 3 weeks or so before player fitness assessments and the tour to Korea.

One thing is for sure, the signings of Kulu and Bentancour should reassure all, that we will sign quality players
