As soon as Barcelona tie up the Alba deal; Madrid will bid for Modric.
The obvious question is why would Barcelona signing Alba have any effect on Madrid signing Modric.
But it does. Even though Modric is Madrids number 1 transfer target, as ive been saying for months, they want to make sure that if bids for Gareth Bale come in then they will be in a postition to compete.
So Alba to Barcelona; Modric to Madrid; and Gareth Bale to stay at Tottenham.

Regarding the Belgium defender; told the deal is "pending"
So it will be done very very soon.

Information about Remy has dried up. Last thing i heard was HE was stalling; but there is no info coming in.
Don't sound like Tottenham are too bothered. Interest is drifting.

I just back up what i said before; Tottenham have spoken to both Luuk de Jong and Lloris.

is that where DL picks up the phone asks if Higuain would be available, laughs at himself and apologises for the absurdity of it and hangs up, all before the RM representative gets a chance to answer?! ;)

Nah I'm kidding, i don't think there's much chance in landing Higuain, who i believe is the perfect player for us... but yeah, why would he leave Real Madrid for Spurs?!

The only way this has legs is if we are trying to get players out of any deal for he who shall not be discussed in here today.

Wahooo, let the modric rants ITK talk commence!

Still adamant about Lloris I see which is good, would like some other confirmation from other ITK's to back this up, not because I don't believe the Journo, but it would possibly mean that there was more movement on this if others were reporting it as well.

ITK wise, I can't imagine there will be too much during the first couple of weeks of the Euros. Sure its a shop window as such, there may even be a little bit of tapping up, but its not like negotiations etc can take place while the players are their. Of course, thats assuming our targets are at the Euros....I suppose we could use the time wisely chatting with Mr Damaio !!
