Absolutely baffles me. Levy has so much to lose in this window.. all the hard work will be gone and back to square 1 if Zidane doesn’t start well

Sounds like Zaha could be a late option with 1 or 2 going the other way then. Imagine we steal him under the noses of Everton like we did Sissoko.
As I’ve mentioned... has always been an option due to Poch rating the player very highly. Obviously others have said it’s a no go but we all hear different bits of info from different sources.

We are not paying £65 million sterling for a player that is saying that playing for Arsenal is dream for him.

Of course there is a totally different strategy we could take with Toby and Eriksen rather than trying desperately to flog them to the highest bidder....accept them as the fantastic players that they are and pay them the going market rate based on their ability. A more likely route to a successful team in the long run..
But if todays ITK about Eriksen (Trix or Hercules i think) is anything to go by, you can throw money at Eriksen but if he doesn't want to sign then he doesn't want to sign. It's not as simple as just 'pay them the going rate'.

I totally understand the importance of negotiating and that we don't have bottomless pile of money. But considering the situation of needing players desperately, Eriksen probably leaving, and Pochettino wanting him, if we lose GLC over €10m, then we've really just mugged ourselves off. Missing CL will cost a fuck ton more than that.

If we don't get some creativity in to replace Eriksen, we're going to have to get poor Kane a neck brace for all the times he'll be watching long balls fly over his head this season.

That's why the interest in our players opens up the possibility. They overvalue him but we can overvalue the players they want.

There was a video of Sissoko having an Arsenal kit in his bedroom before he signed for us and he was our record signing then...

Thanks for the ITK @Trix and @Hercules

Guess all the players we're now heavily linked to are players on Poch's list, not sure any of us know the order in which that falls though.

Going to be (personally) and interesting last two days.

That’s true, but are we really offering the going rate? Given how we negotiate transfer fees I’d guess not.

Really? BF, Sess and Ndombele is a disappointing window for you?

£140m ish out and we've sold VJ, Trippier whilst letting Llorente go and you would be "very disappointed" fuck

Should have also caveatted that by saying it's disappointing if we sell Eriksen, which I don't think is particularly controversial.

Every window I'm left with the impression we try and be too clever thinking if we leave it till the end of the window we will get players cheaper. I'm yet to be convinced that has worked even once. Thanks to all the ITK for passing on what they can.

Zaha was brought up here, sissoko wasn't.. he was fed lies and only realised when he got here. Now he knows the truth

I'd be shocked if we signed both Fernandes and Lo Celso. But I also think that Igi will have twitchy fingers tomorrow.

Keep calm, these are all big money deals. DL loves to hijack a deal where the price has already been publicly set too and there's a few of them around so I wouldn't be shocked.

I would urge to apply caution here!

This one is from a different connection. I did hear through him last week, that we were trying/going to try to see if we could do a loan agreement with option for Coutinho. I didn’t take much notice. But seeing it’s out there, I may as well throw it out there.

Regarding GLC, to be very honest with you all, i really fear for my precious Nads. And I from now on (either way) curb my excitement. And I fully respect all the ‘optimistic’ ratings. Daniel Levy, and ENIC as a whole need to FIX this before window closes. I am confident it will likely be BF & Sess, which weakens us. Yes Betis has pissed about, but time to bite the bullet and do that deal also.

Crystal Palace interested in three of our players, which I won’t name here. But if?! Which I have no confidence, we agreed 1-2 players to them, then slim chance of a surprise. But honestly do not hold your breath!:barefoot::barefoot:

haha, fucking fantastic!

appreciate the update though herc (y)
