This is a statement window.

Perisic, Bissouma and now Richarlison.

1st team players who are from the top drawer.

How much have we actually spent as of right now:
Bissouma - 25m (up to 30m with add-ons)
Perisic - reportedly on 210k per week = 11m per year (rounding up)
Richarlison - up to 60m
Total: 100m spent

So still about 50m to spend (plus whatever we get for selling Winks, Berg, Rodon, etc). Lots of money for Paratici to have fun with.

It won’t be £100m all up front in one go. It’s amortised over several years and achievements.

The initial outlay would be approx 1/4 to 1/2 of that amount

You can't add Perisic wages and not the others. You either do or don't for all of them.

“Potentially 60m”
Think that’s a fair deal for everyone tbh
Yeah I reckon we'll get creative again just like the Dele deal that could potentially be £20m but more likely a very minimal amount. So on paper it's a very high amount to appease the Everton fans but I think the deal will suit us better.

Wouldn't be surprised after the FFP to see Winks go the other way.

But we’ve already spent more than that and by all accounts show no sign of stopping yet?

True but we don't know the agreement. It's easy to say that £100m is only for the upfront payments so we still have all this money left over, however if we spent all the money on upfront fees that leaves us looking for money later, and let's not forget we still have to make Deki a permanent.

I'm glad that the Everton itk is talking about it being close too, it's not just from our side, it's looking fairly imminent from all sides ?

I thought he had a sell on fee, so I'm a bit surprised we're not getting creative with it, but 60 odd including clauses looks sensible to me. I do the Romero stuff is more pantomime than personal ?

10% due to Watford.

Interestingly Everton want Dennis from Watford to replace Richarlison so maybe they can come up with some creative accounting there. Maybe bundle it on the fee and pay it in installments or something.
