I had a feeling this would happen re Paratici in Italy especially after it came out in the press we made 100mil available. I’m sure it’s somewhat like being in a bazar with sellers bombarding us with deals. Pretty clever move by us making it known about the funds. As much as it may make deals like Raphinha more difficult due to their lack of interest in selling, im sure there are many clubs strapped for cash hoping our money will go into their pockets. This will only encourage selling teams to offer better players at better terms. It’s just a shame that Skriniar looks set for PSG as I was quietly half expecting them to come back to us with ether Lautaro or Bastoni. Still, good to hear we are making the rules now.

Some interesting ITK. Honestly, I feel good about this window but surely there is no way we sign Gvardiol, Raph & Rich? ?

That’s the guts of 200m pounds is it not? If we optimistically count the following:

Winks @ 20m
Lucas @ 10m
GLC @ 25m
Bergwijn @ 20m
CCV @ 10m
N’Dom @ Loan (Wages)

Maybe it can be done. If it does I will question if this is reality haha

Our squad was light last season and Conte supplemented the bench with up to five Academy players. He often looked at the bench for inspiration mid match then looked away again crestfallen.

This squad will be refreshed but it won’t be made lighter than it already is. If those six you’ve selected do get offered out and find new grass to play on, there’ll be six replacements plus additional players to make up a full competitive squad.

I just cannot see a turnover that big as it will severely impact the bonding and strengths within.

Regardless of the end result for our squad, I feel this is going to be the best transfer window for spurs since I’ve been on SC - I lurked for several years before signing up. Cheers to the ITK guys who are willing to share their info; and to those that are able to share their perspectives on the many players I’ve never known existed before the players threads. Nod naturally towards all the admin - even @Archibald&Crooks ??
