Not much happened yesterday i'm afraid, just a couple of bits and that was it.

We start with peanut

There is truth in Sunderland's interest. We want £10m but no idea if that's what Sunderland will bid - sounds like a leak from us rather than Sunderland tbh.
And finish with Archibald who had this to say about Woodgate

he has been offered a pay as play deal with a low basic wage.. still talking...

That was all. In the papers this morning:

Didier Drogba, 33, has emerged as a potential pawn in Chelsea's bid to land £30m-rated midfielder Luka Modric, 25, from Spurs.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is ready to battle it out with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger to sign Blackburn defender Chris Samba, 27.

Met a girl in the club last night.

I said, "You remind me of my little toe"

She said, "Because im small and cute?"

I said, "No, because ill probably bang you on the coffee table when i get home" .

Donate! I've set a target of £10 today, surely we can reach that?

First.

To be honest, I would take Drogba + Lampard for modric.

I'm sure POTL's cryptic about a dance was refering to Samba. I'd be happy with him and to beat Arsenal to him.

you are joking i hope??

Lampard is on the way down hill...........we would be better to spend money on someone else is Modric left

Besides Modric is not going anywhere..............lets not start this again already!!

Lampard is on a steep decline it would be like signing Poyet all over again.

If they offered us Alex and Essien plus some dosh then maybe but no way Lampard

How about we stop all conjecture about Modric leaving and pretend we're a big club that doesn't need to sell its best, and I'm mean best, player - especially to a top 4 EPL rival.

how about malouda and drogba +10m

Talk about modric leaving somewhere else untill there is itk on it. I suggest s thread in spurs chat titled

" Lets talk about what happens when modric leaves, and which players we'd accept in exchange. Idiots only in here as we are ignoring all quotes from spurs management about him not being sold and getting our knickers in a twist over shite spouted in toilet paper such as the sun and star".

I just started it in spurs chat.:hello:

Still waiting to sell some of our players. Surely there is interest.

There probably is, after all the manager swapping is finished and settled down it may then be a bit more easy to sell

This window will be conducted like all our other ones in the past few years, pure panic when the last few days come about. I can’t see modric leaving this summer, but next summer if we don’t get a CL spot then he is off. If Chelsea or any other club for that matter is interested and were to offer a Torres fee then id reluctantly sell even to Chelsea. no one player is bigger than the club, and if we conduct ourselves right i.e. get in replacements before modric is sold we could make £50m stretch to Llorente, that kid from Croatia that was brought into replace modric at dinamo, and parker. we have sold one player and strength the playing staff, like what we did when Carrick was sold and berbatov was sold. We aren’t in a position to refuse say a £50m bid, it just make little sense too, we don’t have the income to fund £100k a week players nor bid £30m on a player, which comes back to the stadium issue. This will always be the case unless we sort the stadium or are able to play in the CL every season which is so hard in England because we have six clubs that would easily get into the CL spots in any other country.

SSN just linked us with Adebayor, do they honestly think City would sell to us? I would love us to sign him though

I agree can't see city selling to us as can still see them saying we are a threat to them finishing top 4 again. Good player though
