Another 2 close. But! Please do not ask me to go further. Kim very very keen. It is down to the financials on this one. Other options being looked at. Agents busy also using us to link and draw interest in their players. The Algerian kid at Brentford is very true. Not a certainty, but option. Kim one of the two if we can agree structure. Personal terms agreed on this one.

Serge wants to move on. Media accurate on our options.

Chinese 2nd transfer window is already closed on 29Jul. The third window will open on 1 Sep and close 30Sep. So, I think if we want KMJ, we will probably do it the last.

Jose and Levy working well in the transfer market! Who would have thought it?

Interesting news to get the juices flowing this morning.

PEH, Wilson, Kim and a fourth all for reasonable fees sounds like cracking early business too me. It's obvious that Jose has his targets and they are affordable AND attainable, its all on Levy to deliver early and bar Kim and the transfer window in China I think we will do our business early and quietly go about preparing for the season ahead.

A more structured team is so much more exciting to me than a marque signing.

It’s as if Levy hired a manager who has one function and one function alone, and is trying to give him the tools to fulfil his remit...

I'd be happy for Aurier to be moved on. He has amazing fitness levels but he's a terrible defender and all his crosses always hit the first defender.

Presumably the Chinese clubs can sell players when the window is closed; they just can't buy players.

Supposed to be working today but I'm gonna track flights from Beijing to London instead.

Early signs are promising but lets not get too carried away yet. Let's see where we are before the start of the season and then at the end of window before we start eulogising about how Levy has done in the transfer window.

But as I said early signs and noise's from the club are promising.

I'm actually feeling quite positive about our transfer strategy. It's maybe because Jose won't put up with Levy's BS but I can see us doing quite well in refreshing the squad this window.

I'd feared Jose would go short-term, get someone old looking for a last payday and revert to parking the bus but from everything I've heard it does look like a decent rebuild/refresh.

May I again add that difference between Josè and Poch. Josè is a pragmatist and realist. He also has full dossiers on every target he wants. He knows the DNA etc. So DL cannot pull a fast one. Not the first or second time I have mentioned this. Cirkin is ‘a rage’ in training. Said by one of the players, and staff hugely impressed with him.

Maybe Mourinho plans to stay beyond the much touted 2-3 years shelf life most of us assume will happen. The signs are certainly positive

I don't know what half of this means but I am excited!

Love the bit about Cirkin. If he’s earmarked to push for the first team then the Sessegnon links and lack of new lb news is very understandable.
