I've had a really good look at the Stokes LBW. Hawkeye has the ball move quite a lot in the air after pitching. How does is determine this given impact was so close to pitching?

Just doesn't look anywhere near as plumb as the technology suggests.

I must admit, I've seen it several times and it still looks to me, full speed, like it's going down leg. The umpire has been blamed for a bad decision, but I honestly wouldn't have given it.

I was thinking the same, on the ball tracking it seems to deviate quite a lot in the air around the point it clips Stokes' front pad. It's the original line that matters right? If so, to me it looks like the ball tracking is a bit off here. I reckon it was possibly clipping leg, maybe an umpire's call, but I agree and really don't think it was as plumb as the technology made it look. I'm probably just being biased though! To be fair, we got a few bad decisions in the second half of the Australian second innings, without which we would have been chasing far less anyway.

Joel Whatsisface has been quite rightly hammered for some of his decisions this series, but I read that during the 3rd Test he got 7 out of 8 DRS decisions correct which is pretty good really.

Im hiding in here for a while as Spurs chat is currently eating itself with rage and worry.
When does the 4th test start?

So when Bayliss goes, who are the likely candidates to take over?

Mickey Arthur has been mooted about a month back, Otis Gibson is another who has said he is interested. Be honest, I'm not sure if either are good enough and wonder if someone will be hired from within. Chris Silverwood, Thorpe and Collingwood all seem to have varying strength of links to the current National team. It'll be interesting for sure.

Personal opinion, it won't change much though if we persist with the two idiots in sunglasses.

There's a vid of Stokes @SargeantMeatCurtains sent me from SSN. He watches the reaction from the Spurs stadium and says he's been looking for a team to support. He ends it saying "I'm a Spur now" (I think). I love this guy.

Just hope he didn't watch our game, or he might have changed his mind!.
Watching the highlights when I got home lifted my morale, from an otherwise pretty desperate day.

Anyone seen the spinner for the West Indies today? Absolute unit, as they say.
