Yes, it’s for UEFA. No idea why they’d want it.

They want all your travel plans, CRN, name, address, DOB, passport number.

TRAVEL INFORMATION - UEFA

Not surprising as football is notorious for violent followers and of course the English for drunken behaviour abroad. They also check if people are banned from attending games and can use this info to track people if necessary. I guess having two English teams meet up in their city provides a potential windfall but at the risk of becoming a battle scene

I understand that but the amount of people going out there without match tickets seems massive too. They’ll be the ones the authorities need the info on, not people going through the official club channels.

It's all in the small print

Ticket Holder Information
All ticket holders are obliged to provide information that will be passed to UEFA and the Spanish authorities ahead of the match. An online form will be sent to all purchasers after the sales windows have concluded which MUST be completed. The relevant authorities require an indication of how supporters will be arriving into Madrid. Providing accurate travel information assists UEFA and local authorities in planning and ensuring there are sufficient resources available throughout the city.

If you don't provide perhaps they will not issue the ticket.[/QU
I did think that, but what if you’ve already picked up your ticket before Friday.

It just seems quite intrusive.

Have you already been sent a collection day then?

So i have a ticket but my mate does, how would the authorities know who is going for the football and who is going for the tourism? I understand what youre getting at but when you go on holiday you dont necessarily need to complete a form unless its a requirement for access etc

Exactly. What if you suddenly came across a ticket from another season ticket holder you know, who suddenly can’t go, so you gave it to your mate and he went to the game. Despite the original ticket holder giving their details and then not going to Spain. It’s all a bit farcical.

Anyone on here in phase 3 still waiting on TC confirmation?
Yep, they're going to ruin my weekend! I can't believe they can't put out a statement either way by now. If we are lucky to get to another final I won't be using them again.

The thing is, does it say that the tickets are not transferable? Spurs might have that policy but these are UEFA tickets - im assuming here.

Either way I agree totally but it is difficult to stop the black market... unless you do ID checks at the gate at the game...

Phase 3, Thomas cook, still waiting...

Can you not book a flight and then cancel it (I dont think they charge you or potentially might, depends on the ticket etc) - that way you cover yourself? or is it due to the costs etc and TC was the only feasible option?

The Liverpool website has it that you can put down another person on the form! They must allow transferring of tickets or uefa do, like you say.

https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/tickets/349678-champions-league-final-ticket-details

“If the season ticket holder, Member or fan card holder eligible to buy the ticket is not attending the game, the details of the person you are giving your ticket to must be provided on the online form.”

My mates who are liverpool fans were staggered when I told them that we had to put our names down and cant put anyone elses - seems to be a Liverpool thing BUT doesnt mean it cannot be transferred...

It is as you say farcical and just looking at Stubhub where tickets cost 55 times the £60 face value is ridiculous. It is what it is.

It’s not the flight costs on there own, dad and I don’t have a hotel booked. I’m ok but dad is retired and in his 70s so some of the flight, hotel, ticket cost aggregated are concerning him!

Specially when face value of the ticket is £60! ive been offered two for £7k and the guy wont budge. his words were "He can provide proof of authenticity and all emails from the club regarding sale and the collection email when he gets it" so he just brought them to profiteer! i feel like buying them just so i can meet him and smash his face in :)

I’m interested in kicking his head in too

I see. Im sure the TC is fine but there is a risk as they said - hopefully they put on more flights and get additional slots etc... I can imagine it to be stressful given that now the flights are extortionate and well.. the accom is non existent at the moment

May I ask how much you paying for the ticket from StubHub - it is definitely an emotional rather than logical decision for this game

I am definitely banking on it reducing...
They charge about 10-12% commission on the price sadly when you get to checkout
