Is there a squad list, as I can only see a squad picture which of the U18's(doesn't include Onomah though)

Undr the picture of the squad :

Back Row left to right
Joe Muscatt, Zenon Styliandies, Anton Walkes, Ismail Azzouri ( Belgium )
Middle row
Cameron Carter-Vickers (USA), Chris Paul ( N.Ireland), Ryan Loft, Chris Maghoma (England), Charlie Owens (N. Ireland ), Shayon Harrison
Front Row
Charlie Hayford, Armani Daly, Lloyd Ross, Luke Amos (England), Anthony Georgiou, Joe Pritchard, Kyle Walker-Peters, Cy Goddard (Japan)
Staff/Keepers/staff
Mat Allen (Sports Science ), Rob Burch (GK Coach), Kieran McKenna (under 18 coach ), Tom McDermott (N.Ireland), Tom Glover, Harry Voss (England ) , John McDermott (Academy Manager), Paul Brush (coach), Aaron Harris (Physio)

If CCV is with US at u20 WC then the squad needs updating

Personally when I think of Onomah, I don't really think of him as an academy player. Its abit silly he hasn't been with the squad more to be honest and hope it isn't because of his age, it always felt like he was only with the U18's to help us win whatever competition we entered

Next season we will have a very good team for the FA youth cup if we want

Sterling
Azzaoui ---- Edwards ---- Bennetts
Owens -- Roles
Muscatt -- Tangaga - CCV -- Paul
Whiteman
Not including players like Shashoua, Oakley-Boothe(highly rated), Jaden Brown and others who already played U18's. These lot have the potential to be better than the Mason group

Nice team but cannot see CCV playing u18's next season, Jaden Brown plays both CB and LB so he could take CCV place in that team

I meant a squad list for the tournament SI and not just the picture and people in that picture

Think that was put up as the provisional squad and picture of the squad.

However it won't be the first time that the squad playing in a youth tournament is not the provisional squad - even if/when the provisional squad is announced on OS !

ah soz, pardon my ignorance but can you progress from the foundation to the academy then spursidol?

There would be nothing stopping that happening if the club saw a player that they liked, obviously the older they are the less likely that becomes though. This seems to be someone who was playing for a college team that the Spurs Foundation (charity) is involved with. Whilst they and other colleges in the community may get coaching from people at Spurs, and the club keeps tabs on it, its pretty much a separate entity and not really linked to our youth set-up. Could be wrong though!

Yes, the current Liverpool goalkeeper went from being a foundation player to academy player with us before being released and he only started playing football for the first time at 16

I agree I see him as an u21 but technically speaking he is still academy which is why I'm surprsied he isn't in the pic. I wonder if he is in the development squad pic.

Tbh that's a bit harsh on Sylianides considering he has played for the u21s this season and looked good. Owens I like aswell. I think there's a good chance that Kirby or TOB could also see game time next season as they have been playing some u16 games this season.

Nice team but cannot see CCV playing u18's next season, Jaden Brown plays both CB and LB so he could take CCV place in that team

I don't know if you did this on purpose but you both seemed to have forgotten Maghoma who has also been playing u21s. Him and CCV will still most likely be the CB partnership with Tanganga rotated in for CCV whenever he has other commitments. I'm still specifically referring to the FAYC.

Would Maghoma, KWP and Onomah no longer be eligible?

What about just the FA Youth cup though? Onomah didn't play U18s, he was in the U21s but played in the FA Youth Cup team this year.

I agree with you, but I think it will be him and Tanganga for the the U18's. I personally think his development will be slower. Maghoma would be our best CB in a while but both Tanganga and CCV are showing maturity that you wouldn't associate with 16 year olds.

I dont understand how he isn't in the england squad though unless he has elected to play for france

Maghoma has played the last few games for the U21s and I would expect Ball & Veljkovic to go out on loan again (unless they are being considered for the 1st team), so I would say CCV & Maghoma would be the U21 pairing and Tanganga and Brown (or is he a RB?) the U18s.

I see. I thought they just had to be 18 when the season started, my bad.
17 on august the 31st iirc

Good point but we do like our DM to play CB, Brown is a LB. I don't know if he is Zodel Browns brother who was a RB

There is a lot to like about Sylianides a Rolls Royce of a player who does thing in his own time good feet good skill but his head drops when things do not go his way or he makes a bad pass, when that happens you will not see him in the game for the next 2or3 minutes.
