I don't think the team has been using Edwards enough, he has an issue himself, he does overcomplicate things at times as well, he tries to take the whole team on like Messi and tbf he does very well
Our U18s or England?
England during the match, it was some poor play as they kept going backwards and etc.

But why the white panther lol

I think he is a white guy. Eusebio was nicknamed the "Black Panther". While not comparing him to the great Eusebio, the description of Edwards earlier in the thread makes me think he is panther-like.

u21 squad to face fulham:

McGee, Miles, Coulthirst, Harrison, Lesniak, Maghoma, McEneff, McEvoy, Miller, Oduwa, Ogilvie, Onomah, Veljkovic, Walker-Peters, Ward, Winks.

i noticed from the training video that tom carroll is back with the first team too.

That's why I was confused, Edwards is mixed race with an Afro mate. Brown panther? And don't worry I've already compared his playing style to Messi so we might as well add Eusebio haha

Imagine only changes from last game would be Ward in for Lesniak, Coulthirst for Harrison and then Miller orMcEvoy on RW

Edwards is black.

Also my cousin who is an academy coach told me last year that Edwards has been looked at by man city and they offered him/his family a house plus 40k a year (something like that). Apparently he/his family turned it down as they didnt want to move up north.

my cousin is also coaching poch's son who is plays for our under 13/14s which is quite cool as poch watches his session quite a bit. He tells me he is the worst player in the group though but was part of the deal when poch came from southampton (he was previously in their academy)

Don't know how specific you were trying to be and without sounding pedantic but I'm pretty sure he is mix race and not full black. Other than his light complexion he has said that his mother is from Cyprus and I know his father is Dominican.

Regarding your second bit I heard that his family like the idea of a north London boy coming through a local/north London club so that probably goes in hand with him not wanting to move up north

It looks good at the moment.

@adidave how is posting what changes I think will be made for the u21 team tonight, in the u21 and academy thread spam? Smh. If I get a reason as to how I am spamming then at least I can know what not to do again. It's not the first time.

I think Luke McGee and Jonathan miles are the only two youngsters in the first team squad I don't have any hard facts (certianly so for first team fun days they get invited and are the only two I have seen with the first team).

Just watched the training video from the 7th and again McGee (I think I saw miles I think in the back ground) which adds to this theory.

I think that the under 21s McGee a side and pos miles only train with the the first team squad sometimes and are kept pretty seperate as the first team have there own wing in the ground, and training pitch exclusive to them. Thanks to people on this thread twitter and vidoes we know the under 21s frequently train with the first team but i believe they are still considered "in the under 21s" so have different managers (life managers not football relate) so are two separate entities I suppose it's like being in the fitth form at school your cooler (than the lower years and might have your own lounge ) and have more privileges but the sixth formers have the cooler stuff. Even if you play a few times for the first team your still not "technically" entitled to first team privileges I take it the idea is it's something you aspire to.
