West Ham have Palace away this weekend, so I fully expect them to field a much weakened team
Yeah but the man picking the team won't have Palace at the weekend if they get tonked tonight!!

Agreed, it's much much easier to win this than the FA Cup.Within reason, I'd like us to field a strong team. I don't think you can place enough importance on our clubs need to lift a trophy now, it's the one thing we haven't quite managed. This competition represents as good a chance as any other, of not more so.
It's easy to say we need to field kids, but the reality is, if we slide out of this comp early we'll all be sitting here next February watching a team that isn't as good as us lift a trophy in most likelihood, and be cursing it.
Son, Alli, Dier, Davies, Rose, Dembele, Sissoko, id play if available as they have all missed games in recent and should be fresh.
You've said this before, and I still don't understand what you're cryptically alluding to. What am I missing?Call me a cynic ,but West Ham was a year to the day.Would it have raised to many eyebrows looked to obvious? My bet is Lamela will be on bench for palace.
Think it will be this but Son instead of Edwards
Most likely tactic with big Carrol in the team is long ball and crosses into the box, which means unfortunately we need height at the back and in midfield.. at least to start. Sub them later in the game?
Vorm
Foyth Sanchez Verts
Trippier Sissoko Dier Rose
GKN Llorente Son
Sub off Sanchez, Son and Verts around the 60 minute mark and switch to:
Vorm
Trippier Foyth Dier Rose
Winks Dembele
Sissoko Alli GKN
Llorente
Leaving this team fresh for Man UTD:
Lloris
Toby Sanchez Verts
Winks
Aurier Eriksen Alli Davies
Kane Son
Hearing he has a real Handel on things.
