Cudicini had a good game against the Spammers so I've no worries about leaving him in if Gomes isn't 100% yet....

....but....although league has to be the priority, Chalky at CB worries me so much that if we expect another CB to be fit Saturday (e.g. Kaboul)then put King in tonight

Yes. This isn't because Crouch is my cuppa tea, he really isn't, but one thing I can't question with him is his work rate.

Keane is 'potentially' our best striker...on all fronts. He has nothing to fear from Defoe or Crouch, both are flash and grab players who are more at home in the mid table arena? Has anybody ever thought of Keano's experience and success operating a 'lone striker' role while on International duty? I doubt that many have....being slaves to the Brit Media haha? Generally speaking I have no major disagreements with this post, but I would have to point out that Keane is about 2 years removed from this "spark", which hasn't really showed any real signs of flickering back into life.

Ideally he could have a run of games and return to former glories, but a poor 45 minutes will likely see him back out the side and barracked by some quarters on here.

I will cry if Keane starts. He's so off form its unreal. This is not the game in which we should be hoping he rediscovers his former genius. Lennon is one off-form player enough.

Assuming all our attack minded players are fit I expect harry to put out a very attack minded midfield

Would be what I expect Harry to line up with, although HUddlestone could easily replace Jenas. Unless someone like VDV or Modric are injuried I would be suprised to see any other line up than this (with the only variable being Jenas/Hudd/Palacios filling the only midfield role in any doubt)

This the almost the exact team that I said yesterday apart from Pavlyuchenko instead of Keane.

I think we will win with this team, I feared that Cudicini and Corluka would start, thankfully not.
