Richarlison watching the u21s tonight…the team already at Blackpool? he might be injured?

✈️ Good to see a big jet landing at Blackpool Airport. Good luck to @SpursOfficial tomorrow in knocking Preston out of the cup! #blackpoolairport

Got a week off after this.

Full strength.
We shouldn't go full strength - we need to keep rotation players happy, involved and fresh. If they're not capable of playing against a Championship side then when are they? It's still got to be a competitive team, but opportunities have to be given to the usual subs to see if they can impress. It's the mark of a healthy squad and dressing room atmosphere. If Romero and Bentancur can play then they have to as they are crucial, other than that i'm confident in our rotation players. Nothing wrong with this side with a super strong bench:

Forster
Romero Dier Davies
Spence -------------- Sess
Bentancur --- Bissouma
Kulu --- Richarlison --- Danjuma
Lloris, Sanchez, Lenglet, Perisic, Sarr, PEH, Bryan, Son, Kane

Would 100% back this 11 to get the job done. Be nice to have an abundance of pace and athleticism on the pitch for once

If Kane isn’t feeling 100% then Richy up front with Danjauma and Kulu off of him.

if we’re struggling then Kane on to save the day.

if we’re coasting then Son on against tired legs to boost his confidence

I don't think it'll happen bit I'd love to see Gil in the side as in his last start he was a standout performer vs Palace. Needed for his confidence!

Let me think for a second about the likelihood that a) spence starts and b) he starts with no RWB cover on the bench. I’m going to go with minimal.

Can see him going with Son and Danjuma only playing from off the bench. Don't know how much longer I can watch Son fumbling with the ball at his feet and just generally adding very little.

Danjuma used to play LWB for Brugge in which he played 16 scored 5 (including the below goal v Atletico Madrid) and assisted 4. He also played LWB in his first ever start for the Netherlands (v Belgium) and scored. With that in mind:

Forster
Romero Dier Davies
Spence Sarr Bissouma Danjuma
Deki Richarlison Perisic
