I think Ange will start Kulu, as he has in every PL game he's been available bar one.

Away from home I think he needs his ability to protect the ball, hold it up and retain possession.

If he wants to reward Johnson with a start it's more likely that he takes Werner's spot on the left, IMO.

Can't believe I'm going to say this after all the stuff I've previously thought and said but I'd consider giving Holjberg a start ahead of Bissouma . The latter has become pretty ineffectual recently and I like the thought of Holjbergs experience at their place

I worry about Hoiberg taking the ball on the turn from the defence and moving the ball quickly enough to the 8's / others - especially when he will be under pressure / press.

Deki 27 appearances , 6 goals 3 assists
Brennan 26 appearances , 4 goals 7 assists .

Deki has played almost twice the number of minutes that Johnson has. On a comparative basis Johnson’s stats are miles better than Deki’s.

strongly agree with all those changes.

Last time I think I saw Lolo in the deeper role De Zerbi did a great job on him with Welbeck smothering, but he was only half fit that day I think. Him and Gio together though generally click well.

Bring in Sarr for sure off the bench. Debate between PEH and Bissouma but I would go PEH with his experience and better contributions off the bench. Maddison, Werner can come off the bench if needed.

Agree with this. We need vdv vS Bowen and I think Gio and Benta deserve a start now.

Maddison defo needs dropped been awful since coming back. Defo need GLC and Benta to start add some creativity. Biss has been woeful as well for some time so maybe PEH to start as well.

Yeah, has to be 3 of Sarr, GLC, Bentancur, PEH. I'd go with GLC as the one to miss out initially, and bring him on to help score a goal later if needed. We need energy there first and foremost against this team

Am not sure how I feel about Maddison starting a game. I can understand it on one hand because of how pivotal he could be if he does start to pick up form, but he eventually has to start showing more than he currently is. Him linking up well with Son and Richarlison earlier in the season seems like such a distant memory. We're not seeing anything of the sort currently.

I think with both him and Bissouma, you have two players really playing below their best. The fact that Bissouma is shit scared of progressing any bit with the ball doesn't help matters.
