I worry for Bentaleb. Cant help but feel he is gradually dropping further and further away from the first team. He showed glimpses of great potential last season, a few storming performances and the occasional howler of a back-pass.
From the murmerings about his entourage of agents and the over-inflated wage demands - it seems he may be thinking he should be top-dog ahead of Dier and becoming a little disenchanted with the lack of playing time.

Obviously just opinion. I would really like to see him kick on and reach his potential with us, i just see that as becoming less likely.
Remember the outcry when it looked like a struggle to tie Bentaleb to a new deal, then the hardons on display when he signed a new deal? He has great potential but looks at the minute to be suffering more mentally than anything. This season has been a write-off for him. But I think he can still have a lot to offer us and have a good career.

The most significant factor of Bentaleb's appearance for the U21s the other night, in my opinion, was that he was actually eligible (and yes I know we can play overage players). We seem to forget how young he still is. Lets just give it time and leave it to Poch and the staff.

Tom Carroll seemed to have lost his way and favour a couple of pre-seasons ago, but he has clearly adapted to Poch's style and direction and done himself proud this season. And I am using that as an example, I don't want to get into any argument about who is better than who.

Bottom line is we have a wealth of young players. They will have setbacks in their earlier years, we just need to be patient and let them develop physically and mentally. I am sure I am not the only one who has noticed how much Bentaleb has developed physically in the last 18 months. This in itself requires him to adjust his playing style.

Anyone worried about Kane's form and the potential that he is burnt out? I have a horrible feeling we will just keep picking him for the final ten games as we have a lack of alternative for the Premier League. Son or chadli may be fine for the europa league but won't cut it as striker in the Premier League imo
Nothing we can do about it, that mistakes already been made
